I walked out of the bus and went straight to the stage. A few people complimenting me on the way. I stood backstage and watched my boys play their hearts out. I'm sure they're saving Reincarnate for last. I'm leaning against a wall where I can see the entire stage, but they can't see me. This is all a surprise.
"Hey, you look great. Are you singing with Chris soon or something?" Max Green said. "Hey! What are you doing here? Never mind, that's not my business. Thank you by the way. And yes, I am singing with him, but it's all a surprise. They don't know anything about it." I said, not expecting Max to be here. "I'm actually touring with you guys. I thought you would've known. But that's okay. I didn't know you sang, I'll look forward to hearing you." He said with a smile. "Our last song is a brand new one. One that was written just a few days ago. Actually, it was written by Balz's fiancé. She's pretty amazing with lyrics..." Chris went on. "Looks like I gotta get on stage here pretty soon. I'll talk to you later, okay?" I said, giving Max a side hug. "Alright. Good luck out there." He said and walked away. Chris finished his speech and began the song, and that's when I made my presence known to the crowd.
The band doesn't know I'm here except Vinny, I'm waiting for the chorus. Vinny keeps looking at me as if asking what I'm doing on stage, but then smiled when I held up a microphone. I walked over and stood by Josh, bumping into him lightly with my hip. He turned his head and smiled, before he could say anything I began singing. "Crawling for hell, fallen from grace! And there is nothing left to take! Leaving the past to the grave, so we can Reincarnate!" I sang with Chris, his head turning to face where I was and smiled.
We sang the rest of the song together in perfect tone. Our vocals mixing perfectly together. "Ladies and gentleman! This is Jasey! The famous girl who wrote this song! Can we give her a very loud thank you!?" Chris said through his mic when the song ended. Everyone who had a microphone, and the entire crowd yelled thank you. I smiled and did a little bow. Josh put a secure arm around my waist and kissed my head, making the crowd aww. "Our signing will be at that tent right over there in 30 minutes! Be sure to be there!" Chris said as he pointed to a tent a few yards away.
"You look absolutely stunning. And you were great out there with Chris." Josh said as we walked back to the bus. "Yeah, well, a girl can clean up pretty good if she has the time to do it. But, I will let all of you know, this god damn shirt is coming off as soon as we get on that bus. This shirt is NOT comfortable. I don't know how I even managed to wear it." I said, causing everyone to laugh. "I'm being serious, you might wanna let me on the bus first." I said. "You should probably still wear something nice to the signing, people are going to want pictures with you." Chris said. "I know that. I'm not dumb, Chris. I don't perform on stage in a suit in over 100 degree weather." I said jokingly. "Hey! You don't give me shit for that. I went through hell!" He said. "Yeah, and you also chose to do so." Ricky said, taking my side. "Come on! Stop being ridiculous and just get on the bus!" Josh said from beside me.
I changed into a different corset top that was a lot more comfortable to wear and put back on Josh's circle hood thingy. I still don't know what to call it. I just love it. Hand in hand with Josh, we walked to the signing.
During the signing, a bunch of people wanted pictures with Josh and I. I thought it was adorable. A lot of the fans love me and I think that's really cool. I love the fans too. They've kept my boys touring and doing what they love, so I couldn't thank them enough.
I'm sitting next to Josh just watching the guys as they sign CDs, shirts, etc. for these kids when a guy walks up to Chris. "All your band is are a group of satanic worshipers and you don't deserve anything good in life. You all deserve to die. The girl on the other hand, she's someone I would like to take to my bedroom." The man said and spit black shit all over Chris's face. The look on Chris's face was something that I've never seen. I'm going to beat this guys ass.
*Chris's POV*
I wiped the black shit off my face and looked at the man. I heard a mumble from Jasey beside me, "I'm gonna tear him to shreds." She said and stood up, staring at the guy. The look in her eyes is something I don't know if I wanna know. Her eyes went black. Her entire eye socket looked as if she doesn't have eyes. "Jasey, don't. Chris is fine." Balz said. "No. I've had enough of this bullshit. I'm kicking his ass." She said, turning back to the man. "Oh sweetie. Don't ruin your makeup. I'm sure you can't even throw a punch. Why don't you come with me?" The man said, grabbing her arm. I stood up, ready to hop over the table, Balz is pissed. So are the others. She smacked his hand away, leaving a decently sized scratch across his arm. "Make another move and you're done." She said in a growl tone. "Has she ever done this before?" I asked Balz. "I've never seen it. But I guess we get to now. He's moving his arm." Balz said back. Within milliseconds of the guy's fingertips touching her neck, she grasped his neck and threw him down on the ground, punching him repeatedly in the face, this man's blood spurting out of places I never knew blood could come from.
Balz and I hopped over the table and pulled her off of him. Balz wrapping his arms around her tightly so she didn't get free. "I pulled the guy up by the collar of his shirt. "If I ever see you again, you will regret living life. And if you ever touch her again, you won't be able to live another day. Got it, asshole?" I said. He didn't speak, only nodded. "Let me go! He can't just get away with that!" Jasey yelled and wiggled her way free from Balz's arms. She slammed this guy against the brick wall behind him and looked him dead in the eyes. "You ever decide to call them such things again, I'll do worse damage to you. If you EVER spit on Chris again, you will fear ever walking outside your own bedroom. And if you ever try to fuck with my family, I promise I will kill you." She said and walked away, going towards the bus. Balz, Ricky, Ryan, and I following. Ghost staying behind to explain to security why we had to leave.
On the way to the bus, Jasey is a few feet in front of us. I could hear her gentle voice screaming lyrics I've never heard before. The screaming that I do during songs. Her voice is beautiful by itself. "Why did she act out so badly? I've never in the time that I've known her seen her eyes go solid black like that. It looked like a demon took over her body. I never even knew she could fight like that." I asked Balz as we walked. "I don't have an answer. But I think you should talk to her. She was defending you more than us. The rest of us can talk to her when you're done. I'll be okay." He said, patting my shoulder and sitting in one of the chairs outside our bus.
