We begin trekking through the woods, our destination - home. We met up with the rest of the hunting group after they failed to catch the boar. Charlotte walks ahead of me, feeling brave most likely, but I protectively keep an eye on her.
I hear someone approaching me and look to my right realising it's Bellamy. I instantly turn around and feel nervous. "Hey, Ariel, I um, are you ok?" He asks me. I turn to face him and furrow my eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
"At the dropship you, uh, you kind of freaked out. Is everything alright?" He asks concerned. Why the hell does Bellamy Blake give a damn about how I am?
"I'm fine." I say before turning to face him. "Thanks." I say, smiling a little.
He looks at me confused. "For what?"
"For caring. And for saving my life the other day. Thank you." I smile at him.
He smiles back. "No problem."
Suddenly, we hear a horn in the distance. I turn around and my eyes widden at what I'm seeing. A huge yellow cloud, forcing animals to run out of that part of the forest. Bellamy grabs onto me turning me around and putting both hands on my shoulders. "We need to go. Now." He says to me. I nod and all of us run, I grab onto Charlottes hand, following Bellamy after he calls out he knows the way to caves.
We manage to find the caves and me, Bellamy and Charlotte hurry in, pushing a rock on the entrance.
I slide down the rock, blocking the entrance, panting after running at full speed from sudden death. "You ok?" Bellamy says to Charlotte and she nods, sitting in the corner of the cave.
He turns to me and I nod, rising to my feet and going over to Charlotte, kneeling besides her. "You sure you're ok?" I ask concerned for her wellbeing. Kinda feels like I'm a mum to her. She nods again and I rise up going up to Bellamy.
"Thanks, again. For helping her and I." I say and he nods, chuckling a little. Probably because I keep on thanking him.

My eyes flutter open and I see Charlotte asleep and Bellamy awake, sitting near her and sharpening his knife. I'm on the opposite side of the cave and I sit up, wrapping my arms around myself, totally regretting not wearing a thicker coat.
"Why you awake? I ask Bellamy who looks up at me and then back down at his blade. "It's nothing." He says, gulping letting me know he's lying to me. I sigh, deeply. "Bellamy just tell me. What's wrong?"
He sighs and puts his knife down and looks down at his hands. "What if some of our people died in the fog?" He says. I watch his body language and know that's not the reason he's upset. "Bell, just tell me the real reason your upset."
He looks up at me and doesn't take his eyes off, watching me shiver as the cold air hits my body. "You're cold." He gets up and takes his coat off and walks over to me. "Bellamy I'm fine." I assure him. "No you're not." He says, and before I can get another word out, he wraps his coat around me like a blanket and then goes back to where he was sitting, only wearing a blue t-shirt and trousers. I don't know why he worries about me. I mean I thought he didn't like me. I don't know why I worry about him either.
