"There she is! Roma!" I shout running towards the tree I see her standing by. But as I get closer I realise she's not standing by the tree. She has been impaled by a grounder, the staff still in her body, connecting her to the tree. I gasp, pulling a strand of hair behind my ear.

Bellamy runs up besides me and I remember they were friends, as he sadly looks upon the body and pulls her eyelids down. "She only came because of me." He whispers.

"Bellamy it's not your fault. The grounders did this." I reassure him, rubbing my hand on his back, his eyes still fixed on the body. "They can kill us at any moment." Finn reminds us.

"Then they should get on with it!" Jasper shouts at the top of his voice, urging the grounders to come towards us like we would stand a chance against trained killers. He continues to shout and Finn, Bellamy and I run towards him. "Jasper shut up!" I shout at him but he ignores me and continues to shout. What the hell is he playing at?

"Bellamy!" Monroe shouts her eyes glued to the grounders circling around us. I look around and notice them, ready to kill us and not leaving a space to run. We're dead.

Only suddenly a horn is blown, the same one I heard when there was acid fog. Maybe it's a warning? But whatever it was, it makes the grounders run in the same direction - most likely back to camp. "They're leaving. The horn, what does it mean?" Bellamy asks, panic in his voice.

"Acid fog." I say. But last time, all the animals were running and the fog was noticeable. This time is different. I watch as Finn takes his backpack off his back and begins to take a tent out. "We don't have time to run." He says and I roll my eyes, not exactly eager to get in a tight tent with 4 other people, when I don't exactly believe that acid fog is coming. But I decide to keep my feelings to myself as Finn sets the tent up.

We've been sitting under the tent for a good while now and I'm still pretty sure there's no acid fog. "Are you even sure this is going to work?" Jasper asks and Finn looks courageously at him. "I guess we'll find out." Finn says but I roll my eyes. "No, we won't." I put before pulling the tent up and exposing us to the 'acidic' air. "Maybe it was a false alarm?" Finn suggests as everyone pokes their heads out the tents, like crayons in a box - a very tight uncomfortable box.

Finns comment lingers in my mind and I don't believe it was a false alarm. Acid fog is not something you can falsely see or imagine. Maybe it was a distraction but from what?

Suddenly, we spot a figure in the woods, wearing grounder clothes instantly revealing who it is. "They're coming back." Bellamy anxiously puts but my eyebrows furrow as I only notice the one figure in the distance. "No, he's alone." I announce to the group who have risen to their feet in fear. I copy their movement and stand on top of the tent, not wanting to waste the energy of pulling out my blade incase the lone grounder won't attack.
