"how do you know she's the one?"
"well. she makes you feel safe... and, you like, miss her even if you've talked less than an hour before. she makes you laugh by doing nothing and you know she's there for you, even if she's a hundred miles away. her happiness means more than your happiness and if she's sad you'll do whatever it takes to make her happy again. you're willing to go shopping for hours and give opinions on the same shirt but in 18 different colours because you just want her to look better than everyone else so everyone else can know 'she's mine' and if she's confident, she's happy. if she's happy, well... then that's all that should matter."
"how do you know she's not the one?"
"if every time you see her, you feel sad, then don't waste your time or hers. because seeing her should make you feel happy. talking to her should feel the same as the first time you talked. each conversation should be as exciting as the last and if you find yourself not wanting to make up after a fight, she's not the one."
