My True Passion

I'm Doctor Yoongi Min, I have been a doctor for a few years now. I always had a passion to help others ever since I was a young boy. I used to be very close with My grandfather whom was a doctor also. He specialized in Oncology (cancer). He saw people in pain everyday in his career. He used to tell me how hard it was to care for patients that had no hope or anything to look forward to except for harmful and pain filled treatments, which didn't guarantee anything.

He told My friends and I stories of the cured and the positives of being a doctor. He even told us of a way to help relieve the hurt they may be experiencing. Telling us that many patients ask to help them die in a peaceful painless way. To end all of their misery. 

It is very illegal to do such practices, so My grandfather never dared to do so. Well that was until My close friend Seokjin's Mother was diagnosed with a Terminal illness. She suffered everyday in agony. My friends and I visited her everyday.. We begged My grandfather to help her. Which he tried with every treatment known to man, yet none of it worked. The only chance we had was to wait until it completely took over her body.

That wasn't her wish, she wanted to end it here and there. Not to live waiting for it to kill her. She wanted to be in peace. No pain, No more hospital stays, No more medication.

That's when he changed his mind and fulfilled her wish. She died in peace with a smile on her face, knowing all of it was going to end. My friends Seokjin and Jimin all knew it was the right decision. Since that we knew what we wanted to do. We wanted to become Medical Professionals that listened to our patients. Helping the terminally ill patients to feel happy with their decision. To decide either to die in pain or end it quickly and painlessly. 

Now My friends are nurses whom assist me. We do all of our work in secret, taking the place of My grandfather. Whom was the first Black Ribbon Angel. 

We all go by code names, My name being The Black Ribbon Angel. Seokjin goes as Scorpion, Jimin as Cobra. Our illegal Practices are unknown to the clinic and those who are around us. Our acquaintances believe we are just regular people who work at a clinic, nothing more and nothing less. A lot of people think what we do is wrong, that we are just sick, cruel, and depressed individuals. 

Which isn't us at all, we are kind, loving, and understanding people. We are happy to help others. We smile every time our patients thank us. We're their only hope, what they see as saviors. The only ones who will listen to them. To wipe their tears and hold their hands. Our lives are filled with joy. 

I've never been a person to be depressed or even close to being a bad person. I believe My life has been very fulfilling. I never dated anyone nor have I been heart broken. For us it's just been Medical textbooks and each other. Together we are brothers, close friends who truly understand each other. We wouldn't change anything about our lives or profession. I just hope my life will be dedicated to others, not myself.

I don't look for lust or superficial things that others are pulled to...

I'm truly happy being alone.. I don't see any negative in that. Yet it would be nice to have a loving wife to go home to every night, but because of My profession I'm a little scared. I doubt a woman would want to be in My illegal realm.

Yoongi :

I wake up from my slumber and begin to walk towards my door to get the newspaper. I open the door and look at the concrete floor to locate the newspaper.

"Oh my Good Morning Dr. Min, Isn't it a sunny day today? Did you sleep well Doctor?" My neighbor Jane asked me in such an enthusiastic voice.

"Yes I slept well indeed, It is very lovely this morning." I said.. Jane has always been a very sweet neighbor of mine, who has shown much interest in me. I haven't shown any mutual interest, only because she ... Isn't really my type. She is 45 years old and has 4 children of her own. I'm looking for more of a woman close to my age and with no children. Plus I would love for my future wife to not only be physically beautiful, but internally beautiful as well.

We chat for a little while, then I head back in My house. Getting ready for the day to come.

I take My phone and dial Scorpion's number.

Ring Ring Ring

"Hello Yoongi"- Scorpion (Jin)

"Good morning, Do you know the list of patients we will be seeing today?"

"Yes, let me check real quick.. I think Jimin (Cobra) has them actually." -Scorpion (Jin)

"Let me add him to the call then." I go and add Cobra into our little conference call.

Adding Jimin...

"Hello?" -Cobra (Jimin)

"Jimin, do you have the list of patients for today?"

"Yes, let's see... So we have : John Lincoln at 12pm, Howard Lin at 12:30, whom both are looking for our service. They are a part of our terminally ill patients.". Cobra continues to go through the list. "Our last patient is Janae Smith at 6pm, supposedly she is a new patient. So we will have to get information on her past medical records." - Cobra

"New patient? Does she have a terminal illness or just another regular patient?"

"Another regular patient, she's just transferred to us yesterday actually. She said she's only coming to us for a physical though." - Cobra

"Okay thank you guys, see you later on today. Bye", I ended the call with that. I will make sure to see every patient and help all their needs. I wish there was a way I could do this without having to be so secretive with our true practices. We must always hide and be cautious with every patient, making sure only to reveal ourselves to the ones who need us. Not to be known by others... We want no problems with the clinic or even worse. The cops..

I go to my car and begin my way to the clinic. Hoping today will be another good day~

(They only call each other by their real names on the phone or when they are alone, never in front of patients.)

Hello c:, I just wanted you guys to know that Yoongi will not be a rude and depressed person like other fanfics make him. I'm going to make him a happy and well mannered doctor who is just reserved in a way. Whom is truly sweet and selfless. I hope you guys in enjoyed the first two chapters.
