----Live Show #3 and the Talk with Simon----
--Mr. Johnson's POV--
"Hey Simon, have you seen the girls lately? I haven't seen them since the result show last week." I asked him
"No. I was hoping you or Ms. White did. It's the night of the performances and I haven't chosen a song with them nor have we rehearsed anything." He explained.
"Great." Ms. White says sarcastically.
"Well, let's see if they performe tonight. I mean they couldn't have just picked up and left the competition." Simon suggested.
"You're right." I agreed.
Simon went to go get ready for the show and Principal White and I went to go take our seats. They better show up tonight other wise they're going to be in some deep trouble.
--Amanda's POV--
So we've been avoiding Simon all week and I think he's pretty annoyed at us. But he'll thank us later when he hears the song we chose. I think we did pretty good. It's not like we were rehearsing alone. But that doesn't matter right now. All that matters right now is our performance. Hopefully we do well without Simon's help.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcom to the stage, Second Direction singing 'I Knew You Were Trouble' by Taylor Swift!" The host announced
As always the music started playing as we walked out on stage and the lyrics flowed out of our mouths.
"[Ella]
Once upon a time a few mistakes ago
I was in your sights, you got me alone
You found me, you found me, you found me
[Samantha]
I guess you didn't care, and I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard you took a step back
Without me, without me, without me
[Elena]
And he's long gone when he's next to me
And I realize the blame is on me
[All]
'Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
'Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
[Amanda]
No apologies. He'll never see you cry,
Pretends he doesn't know that he's the reason why.
You're drowning, you're drowning, you're drowning.
[Ariana]
Now I heard you moved on from whispers on the street
A new notch in your belt is all I'll ever be
And now I see, now I see, now I see
[Elena]
He was long gone when he met me
And I realize the joke is on me, yeah!
[All]
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
'Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
[Samantha]
And the saddest fear comes creeping in
That you never loved me or her, or anyone, or anything, yeah
[All]
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
'Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in (you were right there, you were right there)
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble"
When the song was finished, I galnced at Simon. He looked pretty impressed. He was giving us a standing ovation along with the crowd and Demi and Ed. I think we did pretty good, but we're probably not going to hear the end of it after the show. Oh well. It was worth it.
"Girls, that was amazing as always. I love how you girls can go from very slow songs to very upbeat songs in a short amount of time. I hope we see you around next week." Demi said, smiling from ear to ear.
"Just like Demi said, that was amazing as always. I really hope to see you girls around next week." Ed added.
"Girls." Simon started.
Here we go, Simon's feedback. I don't know about the other girls, but I'm pretty nervous.
"You did good. Proud of you." He said smiling.
Well, I didn't expect that to come out of his mouth.
--Simon's POV--
---After the show---
"I can't believe you did that!" I yelled as I entered their dressing room.
"Sorry. We thought we'd surprise you with a song." Ella apologized.
"And for the record, this wasn't my idea." Samantha added, but I ignored it.
"You girls are so lucky that you did an amazing job tonight. Because if you weren't, we would have had a problem." I told them.
"Sorry." The girls said in sync.
"It's okay, but don't let it happen again." I warned them.
"Don't worry. It won't." Samantha told me.
"Good. Get some sleep tonight. You have the result show tomorrow." I told them.
"Okay. Night." They said in sync, again.
"Night girls." I said before I left the dressing room.
I love these girls, but sometimes they can be a handful. They remind me so much of their fathers.
