----Bootcamp Results and the Scare----

--Ella’s POV--

---Bootcamp---

So it’s the last round of boot camp and now we’re getting ready for the results. This is the most nerve wrecking thing I have ever experienced. I wasn’t even that nervous for the auditions. I really hope we make it.

“All the groups please report to the stage!” One of the crew members yelled.

We got up and slowly and made our way to the stage. Now I’m even more nervous than before.

“Hello everyone.” Ed said to us.

“Simon’s going to read off about 10 groups or duets that will make it to the judges house. If you’re called please exit the stage to the right. If you are not called by the last group, please exit the stage to the left.” Demi explained.

“Jaime and Jenna,

Fast Five,

Emma and Christina,

Amy and Angel,

Fierce Four,

Jennifer and Allie,

The Little J’s,

The Gossip Girls,

Jacob and Daniel.” Simon called off.

After each of those groups or duets they screamed and hugged each other, than they ran off stage. But now we were down the last group or duet. The five of us stood closely together with our heads down and held each others hands.

“The last group that will be going to the judges house is...” Simon paused.

Well, here it comes.

“Second Direction.” Simon said, smiling from ear to ear.

It took us a second to process what he said, than we screamed and hugged each other. WE’RE GOING TO THE JUDGES HOUSE!

“Hey, how’d it go?” Mr. Johnson asked when we went into the waiting room.

We just stood there with sad faces. If you haven’t noticed, we’re going to fool our teacher into thinking that we didn’t make it.

“Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry guys! You can always try out next year.” Mr. Johnson apologized when he saw our faces. He honestly looked so guilty.

“What do you mean we can try out next year?” Amanda said confused.

“Huh?” Mr. Johnson said very confused and gave us a very confused look.

“We’re not  going to try out next year.” Ariana said.

“But you guys are so good! You have too!” Mr. Johnson exclaimed.

“But there’s no reason to try out next year whe-” Elena started, but got cut off by Mr. Johnson.

Can this guy ever let a person talk?

“What do you mean there’s no reason too, you guys are amazing. You should have made it throu-.” Mr. Johnson started, but I ended up interrupting him.

“CAN YOU STOP TALKING FOR FIVE SECONDS SO WE CAN TELL YOU THAT WE CAN MAYBE TELL YOU THAT WE MADE IT TO THE JUDGES HOUSE?!?!” I yelled, causing a few stares.

“You what?” Mr. Johnson said in disbelief.

“We made it to the judges house. We’re going to be singing for Simon to see if we make it to the live shows.” Sam explained.

“OH MY GOSH, THAT’S AMAZING!” Mr. Johnson exclaimed giving us a group hug.

“Wait a second.” I said once we pulled away from the hug.

“What?” Mr. Johnson asked in confusion.

“We’ve been away from our families for awhile now. And we’re going to be for a little bit more. What are we going to tell our families when they start to question why we’ve been away for so long?” I asked seriously.

“Principal White has it all under control.” Mr. Johnson told us.

“Principal White knows about our audition?” We all said in sync, with concerned looks on our faces.

“First of all you’re doing that weird speaking in sync thing again. And second Principal White told your parents that you were going to be on the class trip for awhile and didn’t know when they were going to return. You’re parents were pretty angry, except for Ariana’s dad. He seemed very depressed.” Mr. Johnson started.

Everyone’s eyes were on me now.

“Nothing new, go on.” She said quickly.

I wonder why her father’s depressed. I should make a mental note to ask her later.

“Anyway, you’re fathers threatened to go pick you guys up from wherever you were. But Principal White assured them that they were in perfectly good hands and will call them as soon as they get back to school.” Mr. Johnson explained.

“Hold up a minute.” Samantha said with a sort of panic in her voice.

“What now?” Mr. Johnson complained.

“Were they all in the same room when Principal White explained this to them?” Samantha asked in a very panicked voice.

She has a point. I really hope our plan isn’t ruined.

“No. She made a call to every single one of your parents. I told her all about the plan and she said that she would make sure they wouldn’t find out.” Mr. Johnson explained.

“Good. You scared me for a second.” I said.

We went back to the hotel and relaxed for the rest of the night. We’re going to the judges house in a week and we have lots of rehearsing to do.
