Chapter 6: Air

Pagsapit ng gabi ay naghanda na ako para sa first meeting ko kay Cezka. Nagsabi na rin sa 'kin si Professor Evanesca na sasamahan niya kami sa una kong lesson. Alas-siyete ng gabi kami magkikita-kita sa Citrine Battle Hall kaya naman maaga pa lang ay kumain na ako. Sarado pa naman ang cafeteria dahil wala pang pasok kaya sa labas na lang ako kumain.

Pagkabalik ko sa dorm ay siya namang pagdungaw ni RB mula sa pinto ng kwarto niya.

"Where have you been?" tanong niya habang nakasilip mula sa loob.

"Kumain sa labas. And why are you peeking like that? You're totally creepy," tanong ko.

"I'm changing clothes. And I'm naked right now. Wanna see me? Wanna have sex with me?" RB asked with a naughty grin.

"Spare me the horror," I said, raising my hands. "Nag-dinner ka na ba?"

"I just ate my dinner in the Emerald building. Professor Evanesca invited me there. But I can eat again, Ike. I'll be fine with a glass of milk rich in protein," he replied before licking his lips.

I raised an eyebrow. "What?"

RB rolled his eyes. "Sperm. Man milk."

"I'll just pretend that I didn't hear anything," I said calmly before walking straight towards my room's door.

"Is Ike going somewhere?" habol niyang tanong sa 'kin.

"Tonight's my first meeting with Cezka. And the headmistress will see if I really improved my Earth Weirdness. We'll be meeting at the Citrine Battle Hall at seven. Do you want to go with me?" tanong ko kay RB.

"Oh, sure. Wait. I'll just get dressed. Or Ike can undress first so that we can have a quick sex before we go-"

"Are you always freaking wet?!" I asked scornfully before blasting open the door to my room.

Buti na lang at 'di sumunod sa 'kin si RB sa kwarto ko. Paglabas ko ulit ng kwarto matapos kong makapagpalit ay nakaabang na rin siya sa 'kin sa pinto.

"Let's go," RB said before clinging to me.

"What the hell? Let me go," I said as I shook him off my arm.

"I'm cold," he replied before burying his face on my arm. "And besides, Ike's biceps are so sexy. I wanna cuddle them close to me."

"Seriously? Why don't you go to the gym and have yours developed? Don't just cling to someone just because they have sexy- AW!" sigaw ko nung biglang kinagat ni RB ang braso ko.

"Ike whines so much," RB said. "Can't you just appreciate the fact that I'm still in love with you despite of you being so grumpy and such a crybaby?"

"Yeah, great. It's an honor to be admired by someone like you," I replied.

Hinayaan ko na lang siyang humawak sa braso ko hanggang sa nakarating na kami sa Citrine Battle Hall. Pero pagkapasok namin doon ay isang napakalakas na ihip ng hangin ang sumalubong sa 'min.

"What in hell is happening here?" I said, squinting my eyes.

Cezka is currently fighting about a dozen of Scavengers. She's fighting them about a few meters from the ground, kicking and punching them with her bare fists. Professor Evanesca is also watching her from below.

"Good evening," bati niya pagkakita niya sa 'min ni RB. "As you can see, Cezka is currently practicing her weirdness. She's pretty impressive, I must say."

Cezka suddenly made a huge slashing gesture with her arms. The headmistress conjured a barrier just in time to block a very strong gust of wind that suddenly blew all around us. The remaining Scavengers were sent flying towards the walls and the ceiling, shattering and exploding upon impact.
