Chapter 2

Laura's POV:

"Ross, stop! I'm studying!" I growled because my bestfriend has been bugging me all day while I'm doing my homework.

"Lauraaa" he whined as he sat beside me on my bed.

"Rossss" I said. mimicking him. He rolled his eyes at me then snatched my History book out of my hands.

"Ross! I need to study!" he stood up as he kept his distance from me, i hopped off my bed and walked over to him and jumped trying to snatch my book back.

WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO TALL?!

"Give it back!" i tried to jump higher but i was too tired so i walked over to my bed giving up but he wrapped his arm around my waist from behind and pulled me back to his chest.

"I'm sorry." I smiled at his cheekiness and turned around to face him. He has a worried look, thinking that I was mad at him.

"You're so cute" I said pinching his cheeks. His grip softened so I snatched the book out of his hand and stuck a tongue out at him.

"Come with me on practice tomorrow!" He said carrying me to my bed as he sat us down.

"I told you Ross, no! I won't spend three hours in the gym watching you sweaty guys play basketball!" I sternly look over to him.

"But I want you there."

"But I don't want to be there."

"Pleaaaaaase?" He said while pouting.

Ahh! Those lips... how could I resist?

No, Laura! Pull yourself together, his lips won't trick you, right? Right.

"Ok fine." I said completely tricked over by his lips.

"Yes! Thank you Laury!" he said as he hugged me.

"Even though I love your hugs, i'm gonna ask you to get off me because I have to study" I said pushing him softly.

After an hour of studying, I'm finally done! I looked over at Ross who has my phone in his hands. We're cool about messing with each other's phones because we've got no secrets to hide.

"What time will you go home?" I asked him as he tore his attention away from my phone to look at me.

"Why? Do you want me to leave now?" he said giving me a smirk

"Wow Rossy! I didn't know that you can read minds!" i said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes.

"Laura, my house is just next to yours, do you really have to ask that?" Oh riighhhht.

"I'm sorry for asking Mr. Lynch" I said as I walked over to him. He pulled me on his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.

Butterflies immediately took over my stomach.

"Can I just stay here tonight?" he asked like it's a big deal

"You practically stay here every night, Rossy." I said.

"I love sleeping next to you" he said burying his head on the crook of my neck

"Well I think I should ask Mr. & Mrs. Lynch to evacuate your room, then?" i joked

"Ha- ha! Do you know how hard it is to sleep when you have a Riker, Rocky and a Ryland at home? IT'S DIFFICULT THEY ARE SO LOUD" he said then we both laughed hard

"Ok then, but I want to have dinner with our families together tonight." I said.

"we do that everynight"

We stayed like that for a couple more minutes, with my back against his chest, his arms wrapped around my waist, and his head lost in my hair.

WHY AREN'T WE DATING YET? We practically act as a couple!

"your hair smells so gooood" he said as I stood up and pulled him downstairs

Ross' POV:

"your hair smells so gooood" i said while I have her wrapped around my arms.

This feels so right. Everything is perfect whenever we're together. I hope in the future, she'll have feelings for me. She's the girl I would want to marry.

I let go of her as she stood up and dragged me downstairs.

"MOM! LET'S HAVE THE LYNCH'S OVER-" Laura yelled but was cut off when we saw that both of our families are now in the dining room, eating. What the-

"How long have you guys been here?" I asked completely surprised.

"Oh, we went here 2 hours ago." Rydel replied.

"Then why didn't you call us?" I asked as I walked over taking the vacant seat next to Riker as Laura sat beside her mom.

"We didn't want to ruin your sweet hugging moment" Rocky said with a goofy grin plastered on his face.

Laura and I both grew wide eyed and blushed.

"W-What do you mean?" Laura asked.

"We were just about to call you guys but we saw that you guys are cuddling and we didn't want to ruin the precious moment-" Riker teased.

"Ok! Ok! I get it." Laura cut off, completely red as a tomato.

So was I.

"We even got a photo." my mom said. as she showed me the picture of me and Laura.

We look like a couple. I hope we were.

"Mooooom! Even you?!" I whined which made them all laugh.

"Aw don't worry, son. I'll send it to you later." she said smirking.

Oh whatever.
