Childhood Bestfriends [Raura]

Chapter 4

Ross' POV:

Ok, so let me make it clear to all of you. My goal in life is to be Laura's first and last kiss.

I'm so inlove with her and it's starting to hurt because I know that she doesn't like me that way.

I basically have the perfect life. I've got an awesome family, not to brag but I am very talented. Girls throw theirselves at me, but I don't want them. I only want, like and love one girl.

Why does love have to be so complicated?

I opened my locker to get my books to take home when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder and heard a very squeaky, awful giggle.

I shut my locker closed to see Mindy beside me, leaning against the lockers.

Ugh! When will this girl realize that I am not into her?!

"Hey Ross." she said as she traced her point finger on my arm.

"Um.. hey?" I said unsure and removed her hand off me.

"So.. I was wondering, if you would like to go out sometime?" she asked, flirting with me.

"Look Mindy, you're a great girl," Not really. I thought to myself. "but I am not into you. I like somebody else. I'm sorry."

"Everybody wants me!" she defended. "Is it that Laura nerd?" she asked.

I can not admit that it IS Laura! If I do then Laura will get bullied more! So I denied it.

"Laura? No! We're just really really best best friends." I lied which completely broke my heart.

She growled and stomped her feet away.

Laura's POV:

I walked over to my locker but paused when I saw Mindy and Ross by his locker.

She was completely all over him and disgust is clear on his face.

Jealousy quickly washed over me so I leaned closer to listen to what they were talking about.

"Look Mindy, you're a great girl," what the hell? ROSS ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?

"but I am not into you" Ha!

"I like somebody else. I'm sorry." Wait- What?

He likes someone? Why didn't he tell me this? I'm his bestfriend!

"Everybody wants me!" I heard Mindy yell cutting me off of my self debating session.

"Is it that Laura nerd?" I grew shocked. What do I have to do with this?!

"Laura? No! We're just really really best best friends." Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. That hurt.

Who am I kidding? Ofcourse he doesn't like me that way. I'm just his 'really really best best friend'. I left the campus, not wanting to listen to them more..

Ross was my ride this morning (and every morning). So I guess I'll have to walk alone then.

*honk* *honk*

"Hey Marano!" I saw a guy stopping his red car infront of me. Wait, this dude is from my English class.

"Oh hey, Tyler!" I waved.

"Why are you alone? Where's that Ross kid?" he asked.

"Oh, he's still inside.. uhm, doing something else." I said.

"Oh! Hop in. Let me take you home." Oh no. No. When Ross finds out about this, he'll totally freak out.

"Oh i'm good." I said.

"C'mon! I would not take 'no' for an answer!" I swept my thoughts away and unsurely got to his car.

"So, are you dating him?" Tyler asked. We sat in his car as he drived to the address I gave him.

"who's 'him'?" I asked.

"Lynch." Oh.

"Um, no." I said looking down.

"Well you look like you really like him." he said smiling.

Oh what's the point of lying.

"Uh yes. I like him so much, but he clearly doesn't like me that way." I said biting my lip.

"You know, that's what I felt with my girlfriend. But look at us now, we've been dating for 3 years." He said proudly. Aww.

"You have a girlfriend? Who is she?" I asked interested.

"Her name's Sky. She's really beautiful and I think both of you can be great friends."

"I would love too!" I cheered.

"Is this your home?" he asked. "Yes. Thank you so much." I said as I got out on his car.

"No problem." he said smiling. "Would you like to come in?" I asked.

"Um, I don't think that's a good idea. Your prince charming looks mad." he said as he pointed at something behind me. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and looked at to what he was pointing at.

Uh oh.

I saw Ross standing at my door with his arms crossed and his jaws clenched.

Shit. I looked at Tyler again and waved at him goodbye.

I turned to face Ross again and walked over to him.

"Who the hell was that?!"

I'm so dead.

Ooh! New guy and jealous Ross! Haha, I was planning to make Tyler as a part of the love triangle but I don't want Raura to be MORE complicated.

Haha so yeah. Tyler has a girlfriend. You're welcome. Lol x
