Chapter 10

Laura's POV:

Here I am., getting ready to meet Luke.

I'm not feeling it anymore, to be honest.

All I can think about is Ross.

What was he supposed to tell me? I'm such a horrible bestfriend.

I put on a white tank top and a red skinny jean, I looked at myself in the mirror with a satisfied look.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door.

I looked over and saw Vanessa.

"Hey." I sighed.

"Are you and Ross ok?" she asked, concerned.

"Not really, why?" I replied, frowning.

"I just figured since Ross wasn't himself today." she said.

I continued to frown. not giving her a response.

"Well, whatever happens. I hope you guys get along. I'll give you 3 hours and I'm sure you guys will make up because the both of you can't stand eachother, that's for sure"

She said as she gave me smile, I managed to smile back hoping she was right.

I hugged her and she hugged me back.

"Well, pretty sis. I gotta go no.w Riker asked me out." she said winking.

"Finally!" I joked.

*honk*  *honk*

Well, I guess he's here.

I sighed and threw my bag over my shoulder, I went downstairs and opened the door to leave, I saw Luke in his car giving me a smirk.

I looked over at the Lynch's and saw my bestfriend leaning by their door. When he caught my eye, he immediately turned away and slammed the door.

I sighed and gave Luke a forced fake smile.

"Hey beautiful." he said with a smirk.

"Uh hey. So where are we going?" I asked as I hopped into the passenger seat.

"It's a secret." he said, grinning.

Oh great.

I thought and rolled my eyes to myself.

Ross' POV:

I heard a honk from outside so I went out

My jaw started to clench as I see Luke infront of the Marano's house.

Sooner, Laura went out, looking as beautiful as ever.

A sudden feeling of pain washed over me knowing she will never be mine.

The moment our eyes met, I was stiff. I immediately went inside and slamnmed the door.

I punched the wall and ran my fingers through my hair.

I can't loose her. I just can't.

Why would she go with him?

Why did she blew me off?

I don't trust him.

I need to follow them.

"Rocky! Tell mom and dad that I might not be home until after dinner, okay? Bye!" I shouted.

"I don't care!" Rocky said.

I ran outside and immediately started my car.

Since it was already night, there were only a few cars in the village so I luckily saw Luke's car.
