Chapter 9

Laura's POV:

Ah! Home at last! It's 4am now and I still got three more hours to sleep for school.

I went to my room and said my 'goodnight's to my family.

And just as I slouZ ched onto my bed, my cellphone rang.

Argh! Let me sleeeep!

I picked it up and saw Ross in the caller I.D

"what'sup?" I asked.

"I just wanna say goodnight and I love you. Bye." I smiled to myself and blushed.

"Aw i love you too, idiot. Bye." I said, being the first one to hung up.

"Laura! Wake up!" a voice called.

I opened my right eye and went back to sleep but was disturbed again.

"Laura, we have school! Ross is waiting outside!" Vanessa called again.

Oh shit, school.

I immediately went to the bathroom to take a quick shower and got ready.

As soon as I was satisfied with how I look, I ran downstairs and to Ross' car.

"Goodmorning, lazy butt." he greeted me while smirking.

"Goodmorning to you too, Mr. IJustWannaSayGoodnightAndILoveYou." I teased back.

He playfully rolled his eyes and joined me, chuckling.

He opened the car door for me and got to his own seat

"I'll be staying 'til five here at school, I have basketball practice. I asked Riker to take you home, ok?" Ross said dropping me off to my first class.

"I'm not a baby anymore, Ross. I can take care of myself." I said and gave him a smile.

"I know but, just ride with Riker later. And we can go out as I promised after." He said.

Oh right, I almost forgot about that.

"Okay." I said, I tiptoed to reach him and kissed his cheek.

I smiled at his flushed cheeks and playfully pinched it.

"Ha!" I said and turned around to my seat, him leaving for his class.

As I made my way to my chair, I bumped into someone and dropped my books.

Wow, aren't I clumsy.

"I'm so sorry-" the voice said, I looked up and saw a handsome guy looking down at me with an apologetic look.

Well, hello hottie!

"It's cool." I said. He looked at me and gave me a smile.

"Um, I'm Luke by the way." He said.

"Im Laura." I immediately said.

"Um... would you like to catch a movie with me later?" he said looking down.

Aw how cute.

"Uh.. ofcourse." I said.

Well that escalated quickly.

"Great. I'll pick you up at 7-ish?" I nodded and gave him my address.

He went back to his seat after giving me one last smile.

He's so cute!

Oh fuck, what the fuck did I just do?!

I PUT THAT HOT GUY'S LIFE IN DANGER!

I BETTER TELL ROSS BEFORE HE GOES CRAY CRAY

Just as my class ended, I ran to the gym, looking for Ross. And just then, I spotted him....

Talking to someone.

LUKE?!

Oh crap. I hate my life.

I ran to them and gave an exhausted breath.

"Oh hey, Laura." Ross greeted acknowledging my presence.

"Hey Rossy." I said. I looked at Luke and gave him a smile. "Hey Luke."

"Hello, love." Damn, wrong reply Luke! WRONG RESPONSE!

"You two know eachother?" Ross shifted and immediately wrapped his arm around my petite waist.

"Ah, yeah. We bumped into eachother a while ago." I said.

"Dude, I better leave now. I'll pick you up later, Laura." Luke said.

Crap, why did you say that, Luke?!

My eyes grew eyed and I looked up at Ross.

I saw him giving Luke a glare and clenched his jaw.

This is gonna be baaaaaaaaaad.

"Ross-" I started.

"What the hell does he mean by 'I'll pick you up later.'?!" he growled.

"Um... I.... uh... he asked me..... out?" I said completely nervous.

"And you said, yes?!" He asked, completely ferocious right now.

"Well yeah., I've got no plans so why not?" I defended.

"NO PLANS? WHAT HAPPENED TO TONIGHT'S DINNER? COMPLETELY FORGETTING ABOUT ME BECAUSE YOU BUMPED INTO..... HIM?" He yelled completely mad.

I mentally slapped and kicked myself, forgetting about Ross' plan.

Shit, WHAT KIND OF BESTFRIEND AM I?

"Ross, I'm-" I said with an apologetic look.

"Forget it, just go home with Riker and get ready for your date." he said, starting walk away.

"It's not a date!" I said, trying to make him feel better.

"I don't fucking care!" he said, shutting me off.

What the hell is wrong with me?
