it was 4:20 { @ yanna (: } you have finished taking a shower, after coming from a party which was a disaster.

you walked inside the party with your boyfriend by your side. the loud the music made you cringe, the smell of alcohol made you want to gag, but you had to come cause of your boyfriend.

he sat beside his friends and started talking. you sat there quietly with no one to talk to.

"here" a random girl gave you a cup of alcohol
"you seem gloomy, just get wild" she closely got to your face that you smell the rotten smell coming out of her mouth, but then walked away.

you stood up and went away from the crowd and went to the kitchen where there was barely any people.

"hey, y/n"  you turned around and saw your friend ethan. "ethan? i thought you don't come to parties" you said. "i though about that too, but about you"

ethan was the quiet guy that always wore a dark shirt with black jeans with vans and always wore a beanie. he loved to write and enjoyed mystery stories.

"so why are you here exactly?" you asked him. "uh, my brother dragged me here. how about you?"
he asked. "my boyfriend" you sigh and rolled your eyes. then you turned around and saw your boyfriend drinking. "wanna escape for a little? this party is lame" ethan asked. you nodded your head and left the cup on the counter.

ethan took you to the backyard where a few people were dancing but then he took you near a ladder that was against the wall. "come" he smiled and climbed up.

when you both were up, you both looked at the stars. "remember when you used to do this when we were young?" he asked "with grayson and then we always stay up late telling what we want to do in the future" you smiled. "yeah, but things change" he said quietly. you looked down and saw your boyfriend talking to a girl "i gotta go eth" you went down the ladder and towards your boyfriend and then he kissed the girl, that was the same girl that gave you the drink.

"mike!" (random name) he turned around and you slapped him "what's your problem?" he grabbed your arm violently. everyone was watching so he dragged you to the front yard and then let go. "you ass.hole" you spit at him. he grabbed your arms "why are you so f.cking clingy? just leave me alone!" he throws you to ground.

your eyes started watering up and then he realizes what he has done. "i'm sorry" he tries touching you. "don't touch me!" you stood up and walked home since it wasn't far.

you comb your wet hair and then put your comfortable clothes. you opened the window and climbed to the roof.

the cool wind hits you and you gaze at the stars. you put your knees to your chest and softy cried. you hear a branch break and turned around "don't worry, it's only me" you recognize that voice which was ethan's. he sat beside you "I know you've been hurt by someone else" ethan said.

"what are you talking about?" you question him pretending you don't what he is talking about. "I saw what happened with you and mike"

"oh" you looked down and teardrops were falling on your cheek. "look me in the eyes" he touches your chin and you turn towards him. he cleans your tears and hugs you. "i'll take care of you, I can't lose you again. i like you, i've always have." you looked at him and he stared at you.

both of your lips were inches away, so you made the move. you never felt this way before not even with mike. both of you stopped kissing "I think I like you too." you said.

"you won't ever have to worry, you won't ever have to hide. i'll take care of you" he kisses your forehead and looks at the stars.
