Oof, this one is super long. A day late, but here it is. Weird doing a 'kids' show...oh, well, whatever. It's my first lemon so it may just suck, a lot, but I tried. If you want to head straight into the lemon, just skip, like, the first half of the story. Over 3500 words...like how did I have the mental capacity...

KEY:

(M/n) = Male Name

(H/c) = Hair Color

"(M/n) would obviously want to hang out with me more."

"What gave you that idea? He obviously likes me better."

"As if! He probably only talks to you because he pities you. He's awesome like that."

"Well, I heard him say the other day that you were an edgy, idiotic catboy."

   "HUUUUH!? You take that back!"

"How can I take it back if I wasn't the one who said it?"

The subject of their argument sat across from them, rubbing his temples to ease his chronic headache. Gumball and Darwin have been arguing like this for weeks, ever since (M/n) transferred here, and it's been the worst time of his life.

They always try and be the first one to get to him in the morning; the first one to be his partner for an assignment; the first one to sit next to him at lunch. He hated it.

If they had approached him like normal human beings, then maybe he would consider being their friend. Can't he just hang around other people, you ask?

That's the problem. No one else, not even Anais, will go near him because they don't want to deal with these two idiots getting in their faces. (M/n) is stuck with them. Even when he tries to run away, they sniff him out. And then argue. On and on and on and on.

If this continued, his only friend left will be his pet turtle.

(M/n) looked up and glared at the bickering two. He needed to stop this before it got physical and Ms. Simian drags all of them to Principal Brown's office.

"ENOUGH!" He yelled, quieting down when he felt all eyes in the cafeteria on him. Gumball and Darwin flinched and looked away, seeming ashamed that they had angered the one they wanted to impress.

Once most of the other students had turned away, a few still glancing in his direction, (M/n) crossed his arms and stared down the two. "I'm sick and tired of you two idiots following me around and making my school life here unbearable! Your arguing has driven me to the edge! I hope you're happy!"

He shot up from his seat and stormed out, leaving a bewildered Gumball and teary-eyed Darwin.

After lunch, the rest of the day flew by, what with (M/n)'s emotions still boiling. Gumball and Darwin had resisted the urge to cling to him and blubber out numerous apologies, much to everyone's surprise. They had actually made it to the end of the day without saying a single word to the object of their affections. Even Anais was impressed.

(M/n) had managed to calm himself down by last period(block, slot, class, etc.). He packed up his things at the sound of the bell and glanced at Gumball and Darwin. He rose a single eyebrow when he saw them quickly look away, clenching their fists.

He was shocked to find that it actually bothered him that they weren't even looking at him; much less following him around. Sure, (M/n) hated it when they argued, but he had gotten used to their company. After all, they were the only people that talked to him.
