I'm echo333, and this is my Secret Santa story for Meyneth24/ Mey!

Serah's White Christmas

Snow kissed Serah's cheek before he sat down at the dining table, coffee in hand.

"Good morning, Mrs. Villiers."

"Morning!"

"You know, there's only a few weeks until Christmas now. Have you thought about what you want?"

"What I want for Christmas?" She smiled dreamily, looking out the window. "Snow."

"I'm flattered."

Serah laughed, giving his shoulder a playful push. "Of course I want you too for Christmas. But I've always wanted a white Christmas; just

like the movies. It always looks so magical."

Snow nodded thoughtfully. "A white Christmas," he murmured to himself.

...

When Serah woke up on Christmas morning, she lazily turned on her side, eyes still barely open, and whispered, "Merry Christmas, Snow."

A moment passed, and there was no response. She sat up on an elbow and reached out, but was only met with empty blanket.

"Snow?" she murmured louder.

She threw the blanket off and padded across the floor with socked feet and opened their bedroom door. She could hear music lulling from downstairs. She made her way down, hand gliding down the banister, and she could hear the song clearer:

Just like the ones I used to know~

A smile lit her face, and she started to sing along quietly to herself.

"Where the tree tops glisten, and children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow. I'm dreaming..."

She paused as she made it to the bottom of the stairs, jaw dropping as she finished in wonder, "Of a white Christmas?"

Dangling from the ceiling throughout the house were paper snowflakes. They twirled on their strings, made of blue and white paper. She recognized some of them immediately as the ones her and Snow had made together earlier that month, when she was teaching him how to cut out snowflakes. She didn't even know he'd saved them. She could see the battered first attempts and giggled. She had had so much fun making them with him.

"Better bundle up!"

Someone suddenly embraced her from behind, kissing her cheek.

"Snow!" she squealed. "You did all this?"

He stuck her teddy bear hat on her head and her scarf around her neck before holding her jacket out to slip her arms in. "You did say you wanted a white Christmas," he said. "C'mon!"

He took her hand and led her to the door to the backyard. He gestured towards it with a little bow, and she turned the handle and stepped out. Within moments, she jumped in place, spinning around to push Snow's arm in excitement.

There were dozens, dozens of white, fluffy puff balls that completely covered the yard. She picked one up to find it was a soft hacky sack.

"Let's make snow angels!" Serah said, pulling Snow along with her. They laid down in the plushie snowflakes and swung their arms and legs. Once they got up, they realized it didn't really work- the snowballs sort of fell back where they had been, but that was okay.

"Think fast!"

Serah felt a thump on her back, and she spun around. "Snow Villiers!" she laughed. She snatched up a snowball and threw it back at him, and suddenly, they were in the midst of a snowball fight. Serah felt like she couldn't breath she was laughing so much.

Finally, Snow threw his hands up in surrender, and she ran up to him and raised up on her tip-toes and kissed him. She looked at him for a long moment. She didn't know what to say; nothing she could say seemed enough. Snow smiled at her, and her heart swelled.

"Merry Christmas Serah."

"Merry Christmas Snow."

He pulled her in for another kiss, then smiled.

"Lets go warm up by the fire and have some hot chocolate," he said with a wink. "I can't feel my fingers!"

Serah giggled, pretending to shiver and rub her hands and arms together. "Me either!"
