Itty bitty speckles of white fluff fell from the sky, fluttering against the winds of

Jack Frost's winds. It wasn't the first snow of the season and everyone was

equally grateful for that. For that day was a blizzard of two - three feet of

snow. Everyone was glad to never have that amount again, or at least not too

soon.

You were thankful mostly because that meant more customers would be

coming for breakfast and lunch. Granted you did enjoy the season, with lights

strung up everywhere, most people being happy and joyful; the biggest

downside to everything was the heavy guilt that would weigh upon you every

single time someone mentioned Christmas shopping.

"Bye Firion, I'll see you tomorrow!" Waving off one of your usual customers

you were smiling as you cleaned one of your tables from earlier in the

morning. The small café was beginning to lose its breakfast rush.

Piling plates up by the sink in the back kitchen changing the dirty wishes from

soapy water over to the bleach water. The hot water caused goosebumps to

rise up and a tingle to run through your fingers and up your arms.

In the corner of your eye you could see a fellow waitress, Rikku bouncing up

to collect some of the silverwear. "So what are you doing for Christmas?" The

energetic blond hip checked you causing a slight stumble.

Huffing and glaring a tad you stood up straight and flicked water toward her.

"Hopefully nothing, I'd like to stay under the covers." Behind you could hear a

scoff coming from one of your favorite cooks for the restaurant. Turning

around you stared at Axel with a look.

Standing there was the redhead cook for the restaurant, Axel Sinclair in his

sweaty glory. "C'mon [Name], you gotta do something for Christmas. Or Yule

if you celebrate that." It was your turn to scoff at his words, as if you had to

listen to him about what to do for the holidays. After all it was common

knowledge that him and Reno would simply get drunk on the holidays and

sing holiday song late into the night.

Walking to the sink behind the counter seats and drying your hands you
