Wahhh here's the update! I just got home from school and I have to do my requirements first but I assure you, I will make another update later😊 Sorry if this continuation sucks😞 Anyways I hope you enjoy💕💕

Mike's POV

     "How's the song Richie and Stan were making?" Beverly asked as I sat down.

     "It was pretty awesome. Actually it was really great and amazing! I'm telling you both, they are set to win Bill and Eddie's heart tomorrow at the festival" I said excitedly.

     "So what's the plan for distracting Eddie and Bill then?" Ben chuckled. I took a sip on my cup of hot chocolate as I thought of it.

     "Why don't you distract them with the mini stalls at the festival? You know, those small stands that sells thing or goods? Yeah bring Eddie and Bill to those things" I said. Ben and Beverly exchanged looks with one another. 

     "So you mean, we're going to overwhelm them with a store full of goodies? I don't think Bill will buy that kind of excuse" Beverly said as she shrugged. I then looked at Ben who was probably thinking the same thing. 

"What about Eddie then?" I asked them both. 

     "Well Eddie doesn't trust products or goods unless it's from the pharmacy" Ben reasoned. I face palmed myself.Just how are we going to distract those two? 

    "Why don't we just drag them both away from Richie and Stan? Like, Mike you can just tell them that you are going to take Richie and Stan with you for some reason" Beverly explained as she took a bite from the donut. Ben and I looked at each other. 

    "Uh her plan is okay, I guess we could just work on your reasons" Ben said. I nodded at them both.

     "I hope everything goes smooth tomorrow" I sighed. Beverly patted me on the back. "It's going to be fine" She said.

     "I still can't believe they both wrote a song for Eddie and Bill. Whatever they might be feeling about those two must be something serious. It just doesn't look like a mere infatuation to me" Ben said as he chuckled softly. 

     "I'll support them on whatever their decision may be. Actually I'm really happy for them, for us" Beverly smiled. I looked at them both and I found myself melting. Ben and Beverly are like the siblings I never had.

     "You know what guys? Why don't we have a sleepover after the festival?" I suddenly said. Both of their faces lit up. 

     "Mike that's a great idea! But who's house though?" Beverly said as she giggled. 

     Suddenly our attention was turned to the door as it opened. Two women went to the counter and sat there. It looked like they were talking about something important.

      "They seem familiar don't they?" I said as I examined the two women. 

      "Mike that's my mom and Eddie's mom!" Ben said as he gasped. We quickly ducked ourselves under the table. 

    "What are they doing here? I thought Mrs. Kaspbrak doesn't go out of her house" Beverly whispered. 

    "I'm not sure but I know that when mom meets up with a person it means it's something very important" Ben said. We exchanged looks with one another. 

     "Let's get out of here before they see us" I said quietly. They both nodded at me. We carefully went at the back of the diner and took the exit route there to avoid Ben's and Eddie's mom. 

     "Whew! That was a close call" said Ben as he wiped his sweat. After that the three of us started walking away from the diner. 

     We just kept on planning things that we didn't realize we were crossing a familiar street. The three of us stopped when we saw the run down, abandoned house infront of us. Beverly whimpered as I saw Ben's hands shook with fear. 

It was the 29 Neibolt street. 

     We just stood there still for a moment. It seems like it's been forever since we crossed this wretched street. It's only been a year but the traumatizing events were still lingering around this area.

      I quickly held Ben and Beverly's hands and ran as fast as I could away from that place. I know that it's still not over but this town just keeps on becoming very more unusual every day.
