Bill's POV
"Just how old is this shack?" Beverly said as she gently poked the walls of the house.
"I'd probably say it's about four and a half to five decades old" Ben said.
I was just examining the house with my eyes as the others explored it.
An old wooden cabinet caught my eyes. I opened it carefully and saw lots of old picture frames and photos stacked inside of it.
"G-guys look" I called them.
One by one they started surrounding me. I took the photos and laid it on the floor.
"Who are these children?" muttered Mike.
I put the photo closer to me so I could examine it more.
"What the actual fuck? Eddie look! Isn't this your mom?" Richie said as he showed the photo to Eddie.
"That's definitely my mom!" Eddie replied.
"I think these are your parents guys" Mike added.
My throat hitched. Mike was right!
Those are the photos of our parents when they were young.
"W-why are t-they together? D-do you t-th-think our parents have k-known each other s-since they w-were kids?" I asked.
Stan looked at me with confusion on his face. None of us could think of a reason why, we all just relied on our self explanation.
"Wait a minute...The diary, the chest, and this shack! They are all connected!" Eddie suddenly bursted.
We all looked at one another with bright faces. Eddie was spot on with his theory.
"Then t-that could o-only mean they c-called themselves t-the Misfits. J-just like w-we called o-ourselves the Losers" I explained slowly.
Ben quickly took out the diary and the photos in it. Out of fourteen photos he only took one of it.
"Oh God. Mike you look just like your father back then" Ben smiled as he hand the photo to Mike.
None of the Losers spoke as Mike examined the photo. It was an emotional moment for him.
By the looks of it, he was tracing the faces of the picture. He was already crying by the time we all realized it.
We all gave him a group hug to make him feel better. He stopped crying when we parted from him.
"I think I already know the answers to all of this" Mike muttered.
He showed us the photo and pointed out to the person who looked like his father's little brother.
"I bet you, that's uncle Howard. These photos were probably taken before IT started terrorizing the town" Mike added.
Stan looked at me worriedly.
"Bill, what happened to Mr. Howard was probably the same to what had happened to Georgie back then" Stan spoke gently.
I felt a surge of tears as he mentioned my little brother.
"The diary mentioned that they left Derry when Mr. Howard died right? Maybe our parents returned here in Derry, thinking that IT was gone" Beverly said while pursing her lips.
I took a deep breath before them.
"D-do you think t-that what's h-happening before and t-today is a cycle?"
They all exchanged looks with one another.
"You might be right about that Bill" Mike mumbled.
"But that cycle will soon end. We're going to stop it once and for all" Stan added.
They met my eyes with hopeful faces. I was utterly speechless before them.
"Y-you guys- I'm j-just worried a-about what m-might happen to u-us" I spoke softly.
Richie and Eddie punched my shoulders playfully.
"Who cares? We've got ourselves!" Richie chuckled.
"Trashmouth is right. We're all in this together" Eddie promised.
I looked at Ben and Beverly who were holding each other's hands.
Slowly, she reached out her hand and held my face.
"You will always have us Bill" She smiled at me.
"We will always have the Losers in our hearts" Ben added.
I nodded at them with a brave heart. So far no one was shedding a tear.
Slowly, we walked towards the door of the shack. We all gave oursleves one last hug before going outside.
"I'm g-glad I m-met you all" I said as I smiled at them with courage.
