Mark was lying on his bed, thinking. It had been about an hour since he got back from the hospital. He did indeed have a broken nose, not to mention he had a rather noticeable bruise near it. And apparently, the reason he wasn't feeling as much pain was from shock. Either way, the doctor said he shouldn't go back to school for the next two days. That would have been good, except he really wanted to see his friends, especially Jack. Mark blushed a bit at the thought. Jack was really nice to him, it made him feel like he didn't deserve it.

He sat up quickly and whipped out his iPhone. Unlocking it, he flipped over to Instagram. He opened the search, and looked up Sean McLoughlin. A username popped up at the top, with the subtitled name Sean McLoughlin. He tapped on it, and saw that his profile was private. His finger hovered over the request to follow button. Hesitantly, he pressed it. He would just have to wait and see if he accepted it. He sighed and shook his head. Touching his nose softly, he let out a small chuckle.

"It was worth it."

Jack was sitting in class, staring out the window. Once again, he was distracted. So distracted that he didn't even hear the teacher calling him.

"Jack?"

"Jack?"

"Jack!"

Jack snapped back to attention. "What?" He asked. Mr. Avidan groaned in exasperation. "I asked if you could solve the problem," Mr. Avidan repeated. Jack, being distracted and all, had no idea what the problem even was. "Well, I have been taught to always be honest, so I'll be honest with you." Jack took a deep breath. "I have absolutely no idea what is going on." The entire class started cracking up. "Mr. McLoughlin, we've been through this," Mr. Avidan said sternly. "I am being serious! I don't even know what the problem is!" Jack responded.

Mr. Avidan looked at him with an annoyed stare, which Jack met. "Honestly Jack, you're close to failing, either you need to get your act together and get a tutor, or you might have to repeat this class next year," Mr. Avidan said, picking up some papers and flipping through them. "I have three options for your tutor. Cory Kenshin, Phil Lester, or Mark Fischbach." Jack froze when he heard Mark's name. "Mark," he said immediately. "I want Mark to be my tutor." "All right, I'll tell him when he gets back-" Mr. Avidan was cut off by none other than Bob, sitting in the back of the class. "No prob Mr. Avidan, I'll just text Mark, he's one of my best buds," Bob said pulling out his phone. "I appreciate the offer, but text him after class Bob," Mr. Avidan said. Bob shrugged and slipped his phone back in his pocket. Just as the bell rang. Bob smiled and pulled his phone back out.

B: Hey Mark, guess who you're tutoring?

Mark responded almost immediately.

M: Who?

B: Jack!

Me: Wait, really?! Cool!

B: I know! You better do well, he's failing!

Mark: jeez. Well, tell Jack to text me

Mark then forwarded his phone number to Bob. Bob wrote it down on a slip of paper, stood up, and walked over to Jack, who was still packing up his bag. "Yo, Jack, I got Mark's number for ya, he says text him. You know, about the tutoring thing." Jack looked up to see Bob offering him a small piece of paper with a number scrawled on it. 'Mark's Number' was written under it. Jack grinned and took the slip. "Thanks Bob," he said. "No prob. Mark will help ya get your grades up. After all, he's the reason that Wade hasn't failed yet," Bob smirked, cracking up. Jack let out a soft chuckle. "Yeah. We better get going. I'm late for science," He said, gathering his bag and standing up. Bob nodded and walked out, waving goodbye to Jack. Jack walked out of the room, heading for science.

I guess Mark and I are gonna be spending more time together now...

And with that one thought, hundreds of other thoughts about Mark flooded through his mind. As he tried desperately to block them out, his phone buzzed. He pulled it out, seeing that someone was requesting to follow him on Instagram. The username was Mark Fischbach. Letting another small grin slip onto his face, he clicked Accept, and then hit Follow.
