Chapter 6

-----Since we couldn't go anywhere and we had nothing set up, I finally had time to organize my closet. I opened the white painted door with the silver doorknob. There was a couple shelves and some racks. One by one I hung each sweater and dress up. When it came time for my jeans I put them on the shelves, but then I noticed something. A tiny door about the size of a dandelion. I tried to open it with two fingers but it wouldn't budge. There was a slot for a key however what key would be that size. It took a tremendous amount of time and still nothing, I tried a bobby pin, knife, fingernail, anything except for a key.

-----Then I remembered something. The key from the alarm clock! I'll try that! The key slipped right through the hole then I turned it with fear in my stomach. It began to widen about the size of the of the shelf. The door opened and I poked my head inside. Disappointment came to my mind, I pursued nothing in it. The emptiness of the little room was not forgiving. It felt like I did something wrong, but I didn't, I don't think. Until lunch time I waited around for something to happen. I had gotten all my clothes put away that could fit in the drawer. My room was too big, too empty, I needed it to be cozy, so I could just lay and not think about anything.

-----"Mooooom!" I yelled.

-----"What!!!"

-----"Are you almost done unpacking?" I asked as I walked into her room.

-----Dad had been outside mowing the lawn and feeding the cows so none of his stuff was put away yet.

-----"Yes, I just have to put away your father's stuff."

-----"Then can we go to the store?"

-----"Yep we can go to the the store after you put away all your stuff and Jamie and Hazel put away their stuff, When I finish putting away the kitchen and living room, after we put stuff outside. After all of that we can go to the store," Mom said hastily.

-----"Ugh. Whyyyy?" I whined.

-----"Because I said so."

-----"It's not fair! Jamie and Hazel want to go to the store too!" I argued.

-----"We'll they can go when I'm ready!"

-----We were getting in an argument now. She hasn't been right lately and I don't know why. Although no one has.
