Chapter 8
-----We had been in the car for 27 minutes now and about 3 more to go, considering we lived in the country now. Hundreds of parking spaces were taken up and only a few more were left. We drove in zig zags around the parking lot trying to find one. About 7 minutes after driving the car we finally found one.
-----"Can we go to the toy store first? Pleassssse?" Hazel played the puppy dog face trick.
-----"Uh, maybe second honey," mom pronounced with hesitation.
-----"Okay," she replied with a disowning smile.
-----"So what store are we going to first?" I asked with tension in are.
-----"I don't know yet, but I do know we'll get things for you first," Mom responded.
-----I just smiled knowing that she was paying attention to me. We got out of the car and walked into the entrance. People filled all around, looking at everything just incase they missed a sale. We've never been in this store so we didn't know where the stores were located. Although I did know there were at least 3 floors.
------The first store we went in was Pottery Barn. I got almost everything there for my room. A new white queen size sleigh bed, a pink rug, lamps, a desk, bedside tables, pink curtains, etc. My room would look perfect. Jamie got his toy box and Hazel got new curtains. Next we went to the toy store for Hazel and she got a few new toys. Then we went to all of the stores which I buy clothing from. Bags and bags filled the car on the way home. However we still had to go to the grocery store, ew. Hazel picked up every snack she saw so when she wasn't looking I had to put them back on the shelf. About 2 hours and 7 minutes later we left. It was a long day, for us and mom.
-----"Eloise, the guy at the store said your bed will be delivered in a few days," Mom explained.
-----"Okay," I exhaled.
