As soon as night came, we followed the instructions Mike gave us and set out to find La Sombra. Traveling through the Cuban streets at night was a new experience for me and I wish I was here under different circumstances. Derek and I chatted the whole way but as soon as we neared the location, it turned to whispers. Once again, I checked to make sure my knife was sharp while he made sure his gun was fully loaded. We made it to the building and checked the perimeter,

"There aren't even any guards, what kind of boss is he?" I scoffed. Then I crept up to the windows and peered in, my eyes swept around the room and soon found the target. "That was way too easy." I thought,

"Okay, are you clear on the plan?" I asked my partner,

"Yes darling, I'm the one who came up with most of it."

"Oh hush." After counting down to three and knife in hand, we moved in, with him covering my back. Discussion could be heard from our position behind the wall and the voice sounded all too familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it. Pushing it to the back to my mind, I stepped out of the shadows and got ready to kill. However, as soon as I did so, I felt my knife being knocked out of my hand from behind and a cold metal barrel being pressed up against my temple. I tried to fight back but my assailant was holding on tightly. I was brought out into the open and when I looked back to see who it was. Derek. So many questions rushed into my mind that instant but all that came out was,

"what the hell is this?!"
