Crystal's POV
Memories drifted in and out, all of them hazy. I tried to piece them together but they would always never fit. It was like a puzzle. A puzzle I could never solve. Memories with my parents, with my brother, with Kalia and with Ace. It.. it just never seemed to fit.
A small child held onto her parents back as they walked towards a park. The soft grass tickling her feet as she danced , her brother laughing with her in the distance. Their parents talking and smiling while the two siblings played happily.
A girl again walking into what seemed to look like a school. She carried a small bag on her back while her parents stood outside watching her. They were smiling proudly while the girl was entered and looked around.
Again the girl, came back but with a matured look on her face as she completed her speech. Students continued clapping, and an adult smiled . She walked back with a happy look on her face as she continued her way back to her seat.
Clapping. Loud clapping as the girl ascended onto the stage wearing a bright smile and holding a silvery scroll, while a loose hat dangled in front of her. Graduation.
Laughter. Laughter floated around the small blue car, where two female and two males sat. They were all talking while an older male seemed to be driving. All of a sudden, a crash was heard and the two teenagers were hurled from the scrap. They stayed there for another hour before being revived.
Tears. Tears. Black. Confusion. The teenager's face was a mass of red and purple bruises scars everywhere. Doctors hurried around her as if she was dangerous. And she was. Nobody ever inn the history of time had survived such a awful crash like this. Her name? Crystal Williams
A soft beep beep noise woke me up and I stirred despite the pain in my legs. I groaned groggily and squinted my eyes as the bright lights shone into my droopy eyes. A male figure blurry and hazy stood next to me waving his hand. I slumped forward suddenly feeling a sharp pain in my arm before I drifted off again into oblivion.
Ace's POV
"Sir"
"What? Make it hurry, I am in the middle of something important"
"Come to the hospital"
"Why should I. The chances of Crystal waking up again are %5. She's in a coma right now. A freaking coma! Just because I coul-"
"She's awake"
"A purpose of a joke is to be funny. That was not funny"
"No, Sir, I swear, she's awake. They just injected some anastetic into her so she wouldnt feel so much pain"
"I'm coming"
I slammed down the phone and grabbed a jacket before hurrying out to the brutal cold. My driver smiled and quickly reversed onto my private road. He drove me straight to the hospital and i hurridly thanked him before dashing into the reception. The receptionist smiled happily at me and pointed me the way towards the room where Crystal was held. I took a deep breath in before walking in and gasping at her fragile body lying there. A doctor came over and quickly told me her condition. She would be discharged a week after she woke up completly and showed me a scan of her heart rate. Steady it said.
The door flew open as a frantic Blake Williams rushed in.
"Is she awake? They said she was awake. But is she? She's awake right? She has to be awake. I need her to be awake. Please just tell me she's awake.."
