Sorry for being lazy as frick, I've been pretty depressed lately.
(Edd's POV)
I'm typing on my computer, and I realize I need to ask Y/N who she wants to invite to the wedding. I get up to follow her outside, but before I can take a step a woman kicks the door open.
"So!" She shouted. "You're the one who's getting married to my best friend!"
"Yes my name is Edward Gold now please don't hurt me!" I cover my body with a pillow.
"I'm not gonna hurt cha'! UNLESS YOU HURT Y/N." She slings her arm around me.
I step away from her. "A little too close for comfort..." I mutter.
"Oh! Sorry, where are my manners?" She steps away from me and thrusts her hand out. "My name is B/N. I've been Y/N's best friend since kindergarten."
"I think we've met before." I nod, getting slightly more comfortable around this energetic woman.
"Yeah, in like, third grade!" B/N exclaimed.
Then Y/N walked into the room, carrying a child. The child looked just like B/N, but smaller. Another man came in behind her. Y/N set the child down and pulled B/N away from me. Y/N pushed B/N towards the other man and patted my head.
(Your POV)
"Shh, shh, it's alright little Eddsie." You teased, cooing in a baby voice and ruffling his chocolate brown hair. B/N and C/N giggled, even B/C let out a chuckle. Edd blushed and pouted.
"This is Edd, my fiancé. Say hi Edd!" You explained, joking on the last sentence.
"My name is Edward Gold, but most people call me Edd. Nice to meet you." He extends his arms to shake hands with B/N's family.
"MY NAME IN C/N! C/N LIKES TO DRAW!" C/N yelled.
"I like drawing too." Edd responds calmly.
"REALLY! C/N WANTS TO SEE!"
C/N shouts.
"I can show you." Edd smiles at the young girl. Edd glances at B/N for an 'okay' for him to lead her child somewhere. B/N nods and watches C/N follow Edd.
"Hey B/N, I have a question." You pull her off to the side. "Would you like to be my maid of honor?"
She rapidly nods her head, and you cover your ears. "AHHHHHH! OFCOURSEOFCOURSEOFCOURSEOFCOURSEOFCOURSEOFCOURSEOFCOURSEOFCOURSE!" She squeals. Then her face becomes serious. "For bridesmaids, you might want to ask Rebecca, Lauren, and Ember. They may be a bit-lot-upset towards you because you haven't contacted them for at all for the past fifteen years. Not even when you were shot."
"How do you know about that incident?" You ask her, fear in your eyes.
"Unimportant. Now, you should text them." You lead B/N to your room, where your phone was located.
You pick up your phone, and click on the Messages app. You scroll down in your contacts until you reached Ember. You remembered that Ember and B/N had similar personalities. Ember has fiery red hair that she had down most of the time and amber eyes. She had pale skin and freckles. You pressed the 'call' button and realized that you had just made a gigantic mistake. You should've texted. The phone picked up immediately and you were about to talk before your ears exploded.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS?!" The pyromaniac's voice came through the speaker, making your ears bleed.
"I've been...doing a lot of things that shouldn't be humanly possible." You say the last part quickly.
"WHY HAVEN'T YOU TALKED TO ME! WHEN YOU GOT ALMOST KILLED! WHEN YOU GOT SHOT IN THE CHEST!" Ember shouted into the phone. You could tell that for once Ember was crying.
"I'm sorry Ember...I know I should've called." You apologized.
"CLEARLY!" She yelled. She was about to hang up.
"WAIT! Before you go, do you still live with Rebecca and Lauren?" You asked.
"No, they moved away when you stopped calling." Ember cried.
"Oh. Alright. Stay fresh girl." You recalled the phrase you used to laugh about.
"You...still remember that?" She questioned.
"How could I forget? It would make you laugh all the time!" You smiled.
"I miss you, ya' know." She laughed to herself.
"I have a question for you." You took in a deep breath.
"Yes?" Ember prompted.
"I'm getting married, and-" You started. But Ember cut you off.
"WAIT WHAAAAAT!" Ember shouted into the phone. She had much less of a reaction than you expected.
"Yes, and I need bridesmaids. Will you be one of them?" You asked.
"OMGOSH YES!" She screamed excitedly.
"Thank you, Emmy." You called her by her embarrassing nickname from middle school.
"Hey!" She said. "I gotta go. Bye!" She hung up.
"That went better than I expected." B/N commented. You nodded in response.
"Lauren's turn." You gulped. She had a short temper, but she was calm sometimes.
You scrolled down to Lauren's contact. She had long and curly chocolate brown hair which she always wore in a ponytail. She had sun kissed skin, and hazel eyes that would vary in color from lighting. Sometimes you used to call her 'Laurens' because in a way she reminded you of John Laurens.
You tapped on the 'call' button and waited. The call was sent to voicemail almost immediately, but you tried again and she picked up.
"What do you want." Lauren growled, clearly not wanting to talk to you.
"Listen Lauren, I'm sorry for not calling. I have something to ask you, if you're willing to listen." You state.
"What." She barked.
"I'm getting married, so-" You were cut off by Lauren.
"Why do you never tell me what's going on in your life!" She shouted.
"I'm sorry Lauren. But please, listen." You continued. "I want you to be one of my bridesmaids."
"I-I'll think about it." She simply responded. Then Lauren hung up.
"She'll probably text you if I know her well." B/N looked at you with sympathy.
Well, it was time for Rebecca. She has golden blonde hair and blue eyes that would turn silver-gray in the dark. She had fair skin and freckles that were dusted along her cheeks. She was unpredictable, and she was hard to read. She could hide her emotions well, due to childhood trauma. You scrolled all the way down to her contact. You take a deep breath, and
click.
