A Perfect Happy Ending [Edd X Reader]

(Your POV)
"Edd?" You ask.

"Yeah, it's me." He says calmly.

"What are you doing here?" You question as you walk up next to him.

"I'm here to confess something." He states.

"What is i-" You begin to say. But you are cut off by Edd smashing his lips into yours. You melt into the kiss without realizing you did. Then you both have to pull away for something called air.

"I love you Y/N." You meet his hazel eyes that were sparkling in the dying light of the sun.

"I love you too Edd." You say, kissing him again. This time it was a little longer, not holding back.

[A/N:It was so hard not to squeal while writing this give me a break.]

When you finally break away from the kiss, he looks at you and shakily asks,

"Will you go on a date with me?"

You lock eyes. His shining hazel eyes are full of pure honesty.

"Yes." You say.

"Now, let's rewrite you back into the story." Edd says.

~A Few Months Later~

(Author~Chan is telling the story now. Though she always has.)

It had been a few weeks since Y/N started dating Edd. Y/N truly loved Edd and Edd truly loved Y/N. They had broken the news to Tom and Matt and they told them that they were dating too. Tom and Matt were dating, Y/N and Edd were dating.

But, while Y/N, Edd, Tom and Matt were happy, someone else wasn't.

If you guessed Tord, you are correct.

While they were happy over in England, Tord was angry over in Norway. He was angry with Y/N, Tom, Matt and Edd. Oh, especially Edd.

Tord was furious with Edd. He had taken Y/N away from him. He truly loved Y/N too, but he made a stupid decision. He didn't realize it was his own fault.

Little did you know, Tord had heard you sing that song about him. Now he wants a second chance. Though, Tord in this story, not in real life, is an idiot. He should get his head out of his butt and think about his actions.

But, that is not how I plan the storyline. Unfortunately for you.

Now, the show must go on.

(Your POV)
You stand in your apartment. You and Edd have been dating for months now, but you didn't feel good enough.

*SELF HARM WARNING*

I look at my knife block, where I keep things like scissors for cooking. And darker things.

You walk to the knife block and roll up your sleeves. You take out the sharpest knife and set it on the counter. Then you unwrap the bandages on your arms. They revealed arms covered in cuts.

Oh, there's not enough room.

You replace the brownish red bandages with hospital white new ones. Then you roll up your pant leg. You grab the knife and slice your leg. You keep cutting your leg until the whole front is covered in cuts. You repeat the process on your other leg.

*SELF HARM OVER*

You feel yourself becoming lightheaded. Your vision is becoming blurry. Then, you pass out from blood loss.

(Edd's POV)
Maybe Y/N wants to go to the park. I knock on her door. No answer. I realize the door is unlocked so I walk in to see a bleeding out Y/N. I rush over to her and see bloody bandages, a knife, and her arms and legs slit.

I call the hospital and grabbed some paper towels to try to clean up the blood. I heard the deafening sound of sirens blasting from outside the premise, and Tom and Matt bust into the room.

"We heard sirens and-" Tom was cut off by the sight of Y/N's bleeding body and me clutching it in tears. "Oh my God."

Matt acquired more paper towels while Tom and I were checking her breathing and heartbeat. They were both slowing down. Then, nurses and doctors flooded into the room. They hoisted
Y/N onto a cot and brought her to an ambulance. I tried to follow them but a nurse stopped me.

"You can follow in a car."

Tom, Matt and I all leap into my car and speed after the white truck-like vehicle. We all had tears slipping down our cheeks, but we finally arrived at the white hospital. We attempt to follow her to her room, but a doctor stops us.

"She's not stable."

We are sat down in the waiting room. Tom is holding Matt in his arms, both crying. I just sat there, holding my wet face in my hands.

I could've helped.

I could've figured it out.

I could've stopped this.

~Time Skip~

It's been hours. The sun has set, leaving the room barren and only lit by a few dim lights from the ceiling. Then, a door creaks open and a doctor steps out. He walks over to us.

"Are you here to see Y/N Ridgewell?" He asks.

"Yes." Tom answers.

"You may see her now." He says.

We are lead up the stairs to the third floor. The doctor, whose name was Doctor Lee by name tag, showed us into room 1.

He opens the door to reveal Y/N sitting in a bed, eyes closed. She wasn't moving. Tom and Matt sit on one side of the bed and I sit on the other. Tom whispers something in her ear and looks away. Matt and I just cried.

We weren't there for long when multiple doctors attempted to rush us out.

Then,

The heartbeat line went flat.
