A Perfect Happy Ending [Edd X Reader]

(Edd's POV)
We weren't there for long when multiple doctors attempted to rush us out.

Then,

The heartbeat line went flat.

(Your POV) *This chapter is gonna be in first person

I stood in a dark void. Is this death?

"Y/N..." I hear an eerie voice call.

"W-who's there?" I stammered.

"Me! Ya' know, Author~Chan?" The voice said.

"Umm...who?" I question.

A short female appears. She had semi-long blonde hair, teal eyes, and had small purple-rimmed glasses. She had a glowing halo and flapping white angel wings, as well as ice blue cat ears and a cat tail. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt, and gray pants decorated with multiple cats. She had blue shoes.

"Me? I made ya'!" She states.

"What?" I stared at the small neko-angel like she was crazy.

"Let's start this over. I'm Author~Chan, I rule this universe, I guess?" She stands up straighter, trying to look intimidating but failing. "I know what you're thinking, not as straight as herself, BUT NOPE YOU'RE WRONG I'M A BISEXUAL!"

"Oookkkaaayyy then!" I say hesitantly.

"Oh shut up! You know I'm amazing!" She did a mic drop poison. I was questioning her sanity.

"Anyway where am I?" I asked the short female.

"You are in the writer's block void! You're half dead! But don't worry, I have the power to bring you back!" She flapped her angel wings and her cat tail flicked with excitement. "But you will have no memory of me or this place!"

"I just wanna see Edd, Tom and Matt again..." My head drops.

"That's fine! Okay, close your eyes!" She tells me.

"Okay, but before I go, how old are you? You look young." I ask.

"Oh, I'm eleven." I must have given her a weird look, because then she said, "Don't worry, I'm still in training."

I shut my eyes.

"Ya' know, I kinda need you kneel down. I'm short ya' know!" She says sassily.

"Oh, sorry." I kneel down. She does some weird finger thing to my forehead while whispering some gibberish-sounding words.

"Goodbye!" She flaps her wings and flies off somewhere. Then, my whole world turned white.

(Edd's POV)
I slam my fist on the door, Tom does the same. They can't just let her die! The line moves a slight bit. Everyone stops. It starts to move at a steady pace. Y/N jolts from her non-peaceful place in the hospital bed. She calls for somebody. It sounded like a broken up "E..d! ...om! M..tt!" But I wasn't sure.

One of the doctors slowly open the door. Tears fell from Y/N's eyes as a smile spread across her face.

"Edd! Tom! Matt!" She cried.

"Y/N!" We all hug her.

"T-that was v-very stupid of y-you..." Tom said, his sentence broken up by tears.

"W-we m-m-missed you!" Matt said.

"I'm s-so g-glad you're b-back!" I say, sniffling.

"I-I'm sorry!" She said as the tears rolled down her face.

"Okay, okay that's enough." A doctor said.

"Oh uh...sorry." We say quickly.

We sort some things out, and tomorrow we can bring Y/N home! Tom wanted to stay with her and scold her, because sibling stuff. After a whole half-hour of arguing, Tom finally got to stay. Matt and I had to leave though.

~One Day Later~

I woke up at 9:00. It was time to pick up Y/N! I nearly kicked my door down. And Matt's.

"Matt! Let's go pick up Y/N!" I shouted.

I hear shuffling from behind the door. Matt opens the door.

"Huh?"

I grab his wrist and throw him into my car.

(Your POV)
Tom hugged you tightly.

"Why did you keep doing it? I thought you stopped after high school." He asked you.

"I just felt like I still needed it...I'm sorry." You answered. What a stupid excuse.

"That's a bad reason Y/N." His void eyes meet your teary E/C ones. He hugs you.

"Y/N, you said you would stop after a caught you." He said.

"I'm sorry..." You apologized.

"Shh...it's not your fault that our parents hated us. I know that's your reason. I know you thought it was your fault. It isn't." He assured you.

You sobbed into his shoulder. "I'm sorry Tom...I'll stop for real this time. Promise."

"You better." He demands.

"C'MON Y/N LET'S GO HOME!" Edd bursts into the room.

"YEP YOU TOO TOM!" Matt follows him.

"Oh oka-NOW I'M GOING THIS WAY!" Your sentence was cut off by Edd grabbing you and Matt grabbing Tom.

Edd, Matt and Tom fill out some papers and they carry you to the car.

"Guys I can walk." You complained.

"I do not trust you to walk!" Edd says.

"Geez overprotective." You teased.

"I AM NOT OVERPROTECTIVE!" He shouts.

They put you in the car, and Edd buckles your seatbelt for you.

"Edd I can do it myself..." You tell him.

"Too much on your hands." He replied.

"But Eeeddddddddddddddddddddd..." You say like a child.

"No buts!" He demands.

He sits next to you, leaving the driver and shotgun to Matt and Tom. Tom gets in the driver's seat, (duh) while Matt sits in the shotgun. Tom drives to the apartment complex and Edd carries you bridal style to your apartment.

"Thanks Edd." You say.

"I love you." He tells you.

"I love you too Eddie." You nicknamed him.

"Really Y/N?" He asks you.

"Yep!" You respond. You kiss him on the cheek and walk into your small apartment.

(Edd's POV)
Y/N gives me a peck on the cheek and enters her apartment. I walk to mine.

I open the door to my apartment and flop onto my green comforter.

Oh, what a day. It was all worth it for Y/N.

I fall right into a black sleep.

I stared at the picture of me and Y/N. She was laughing. I missed her. Maybe...

I'll go back?
