I've been up since about 11, yet somehow I haven't made my way out of bed. That was until a knock on my bedroom door interrupted the nice peace and quiet. "Annie, what are you doing? Jayden's party starts in less than three hours!" Katie said. I look over at my alarm clock. When the hell was it 3:30? I quickly jump out of bed to go wash my face. I then put on some makeup, curl my hair, and change into my dress. It only took two hours, and I'm not going to lie, I looked pretty good. "You guys ready?" Liv asked, slapping on one more layer of lipgloss. "Yep, let's go!" I answer.________________________________

"Woah, this house is huge!" I shriek, staring into the modern-styled mansion. We took an uber to Jayden's, and I couldn't help but admire the loads of teens beginning to flood the entryway.Only an hour later, I actually discovered I was having fun. I was dancing and not even caring what people thought. There was one person who I hadn't seen at all.
Hayden.
I looked all around the house until I found myself in the pool area. There was a humongous snack table by the large, rectangular pool. I was grabbing some chips when my heel got stuck in the pavement. I tried pulling it out without looking like an idiot, but it wouldn't budge. Finishing my chip, I give my shoe one last tug. Fortunately, that tug retrieved my shoe. But as it flew from off the pavement, it caused me to fly back into someone followed by a "splash" sound. Turning around, I see a very angry Jayden in the pool. Her hair is wet, but somehow her makeup is still in place. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Jayden screams. I know Jayden despises me, but I actually felt really bad for her. It was her birthday party and I accidentally shoved her straight into her own pool! "I'm so sorry Jayden. Here, let me help you." I offer, leaning over to give her my hand. "You really want to help me? Here, let me help you!" Jayden responds, tugging onto my hand, pulling me into the pool. Unlike Jayden, I could almost feel my makeup immediately start to run. Everyone around us began to "ooh" and record on their phones, chanting for a fight. After I make it out of the pool, I finally see Hayden giving Jayden a towel to warm her up. Shivering, I go back inside to look for Katie and Liv. I catch a quick glimpse of them as I run into Lauren.
"Yikes Annie, were you taking a swim in the lake again?" Lauren joked.
"No...I-" I began.
"I'm joking. You look really cold, do you want some hot chocolate to warm you up? I make it so it has this super insane taste that automatically makes you feel better."
The way Lauren made the hot chocolate sound made me want to gag, but I felt so cold and disgusting that I'd do anything to feel better. I nod my head as Lauren goes down to the basement to make one; as if the kitchen were "too busy".
"Drink up." Lauren smirks, handing me the hot chocolate minutes later. I take a sip, my mouth immediately regretting the taste of it. "It's disgusting, but it works like a miracle. Just chug it." she suggests. Just moments later, I start to feel better, but I couldn't really control myself. I spend the next few hours dancing and drinking who knows what. Liv and Katie texted me saying they left due to having an early Sunday gymnastics practice. Who even practices on a Sunday? I'm about to drink another glass of "water" (at the time I had no clue what it was) when someone taps me on the shoulder. "Hey cutie, come with me." he suggests. "Okay!" I reply, flipping my still damp hair over my shoulder. He grabs my hand, taking me up the stairs. "Where are we going?" I ask eagerly. "Shush princess." he answers while putting his finger on my lip. "Carsons got you." Carson? I thought this guy hated me! He opens a door, revealing a large bedroom. "Sit here princess, and just relax." he whispers, fowarding me to sit on top of him. I follow, and he grabs me and starts to make out with me. Honest to god, I've never even had my first kiss. One little make out session was seconds away from turning into so much more until the door swings open. I quickly grab my dress from off the floor and throw the covers on me.
