Jiper/Pileo ~ Rocky Roads

Jason

Lila sat beside Jason at the fire. She was alright. He had met her at a bar in Holland, after a while she decided to come along and things clicked. Lila was a daughter of Apollo and she loved music. Her hair was black as the night and her eyes were violet, but as wonderful as she was she wasn't Piper. It felt good to have some kind of distractment from the one thing that filled his mind the most. Piper. After Jason broke up with Piper he soon realized after, that it was a big mistake. That's why he dragged his friends on a backpacking trip across Europe to get his mind off of her.

He saw Piper walking with Percy towards the fire. She was as beautiful as ever, her beauty was modest and sweet unlike her siblings. No one was as important to him as Piper was. Lila looked at him worried.

"What's wrong Sparky?" She asked Jason wondered where she could have heard someone call him that.

"Where did you hear that?" Jason asked infuriated, that someone other than Piper would call him that. But he quickly realized that Lila couldn't have known any better. But that nickname was Piper's. Even if they were broken up. Before Lila could answer Jason to see Piper screaming from the other side of the room.

"How could you just leave me for her!" Piper screamed pointing at Annabeth and Percy. Jason was in disbelief. Piper and Percy? That sounded wrong. Percy gets everything, he gets all the popularity, recognition and fame. But Jason always knew at the back of his mind that he would never get Piper. That was the one thing that he couldn't have was his girl, or well what used to be his girl.

"I told you I am done with you!" Percy screamed back. Jason sat there jaw dropped waiting for someone to say something. No one moved a muscle or breathed. Silence. In the end Percy ended up proposing to Annabeth. Suddenly Piper looked over at him, at the worst moment possible Lila kissed him on the cheek. He could see the heartbreak in her eyes she quickly turned around and ran off. Jason decided to follow her. She seem pretty upset. He could understand why.  She ran past her cabin and to Jason's. At first he struggled to understand why Piper would go to his cabin but then he realized that her siblings would probably be after her wondering what is wrong.  Jason ran up to his cabin and opened the door slowly, there was Piper crying near Thalia's old bed.

"What's wrong?" Jason asked. Piper looked up her face was red from tears. Her body had thinned out, as well as her face. Newly toned muscles had appeared on her arms and legs.

"What's wrong?" She sobbed sarcastically, clearly angry but too upset to let it out.

"I am so sorry Pipes." Jason said trying to sound sincere. "I wish there was an excuse for my behavior but there isn't." Piper didn't just look at him, she saw right through him. Like he was a ghost.

"Do you love her?" Piper asked now more angry than sad.

"No." He answered simply. I could never love anyone like I love you. He thought to himself. Immediately regretting not saying it out loud.

"Okay. You know I don't even care. You broke up with me. You go and have fun. " She said tears still streaming down her face. It hurt him so much to think that she was in pain because of him. 

"No, I'm not going anywhere. So what are you doing in here?" Jason asked trying to change the subject.

"It is the only quiet place at camp." She replied wiping away tears. "What are you trying to accomplish? You gave up your privilege to comfort me when you dumped me and left suddenly." Piper asked turning it back to the one thing Jason didn't want to talk about. He just wanted to hold her and tell her that she was his. But Piper would never forgive me. He thought.

"I am so deeply sorry Piper. I just want you to know."

"I get it." She snapped harshly. "Now take your new girlfriend and get out of here.

"No. I won't leave you"

"Why not?! WHY WON'T YOU JUST GET OUT OF MY LIFE!? I LOVED YOU SO MUCH! HOW DARE YOU COME HERE AND TRY TO BE MY FRIEND AGAIN! She yelled storming out of the cabin.  But Jason wasn't going to lose her again. He had to think of something.
