Chapter 2

~the next morning~

I woke up like always before the sun broke dawn to go out and hunt for my mother one last time. The dear and rabbits would be out so that what I decided to hunt. I grabbed my bow and arrows from my wardrobe, luckily my mother didn't pack them away, heading out the front door and off into the woods. It was still dark so I grabbed a torch and lit it once I was far enough away from the town. If anything everyone was scared to go out this early and lucked for me it was one of my last hunts and I knew my mother would be taken care of because the lords son would be with me on this hunt.

"Keep your voice low and stay close to me," I said luckily he was the same age as me so he was smart. I had my bow and he had his. Luckily we didn't have to go to far in before we saw our first hunt.

"When you hunt a big animal you want to strike it where it will fall and won't get up, this will only wound the animal, you need to stab it in the heart with your knife." I said drawing back and preparing to shout first. "You must stay quiet or have a low whisper, keep both eyes open and aim for its heart or lungs. Don't ever hold your breath and when you have it in sight..." I trailed off and let the arow go. The deer let out a small cry and we ran up to it. "I'm sorry," I whisper and stab it.

"What about the rabbits?"he asked and I look around.

"It's best to set up traps for them but they are really heard to catch." I said and he nodded. I had some traps set up and told him where to look and how to set them up again. He did what I asked as I wrapped rope around the deers feet.

"Okay the traps got 5 is that good?"

"I only set up five traps so yeah," I said and with that it was barely about 8 am and we head back. We take everything to the buture and let him cut everything. I let him keep the meet he wants and he pays me for it.

"I sure will miss you (Y/n) but at least we got a good kill in this day. Who will take this over when your gone?"

"The lords son he couldn't make it to this because he had to work on his aim a bit more." I said and giggled a bit.

"Well who ever you have as a husband will be happy to have you," he said paying me my 20 gold and I nod taking my sare and two rabbits back home.

"Mornning darling how was your last hunt?" Mom asked and I shrug giving her the meet and the gold I got. "The rest of the gold I've saved up it's a lot to keep you well off and the lords son will be doing the hunt and giveing you the gold."

"Great! Now what would you like for breakfast? I have eggs and flower and bananas? Maybe I could surprise you!" She said and I nodded. "Please, I know you don't like them but, please could you put on the dress I laid out for you after your bath." She asked and I nodded.

"Only for you," I said and went to take my bath and change.

My carriage, guards, me on a horse and everything was ready. I was glad to see (Y/n) again and we had to leave early that day just so we could make it before noon and back in time for dinner. I remember she was not really a dress girl so I hoped she would be dressed how she would like but a dress would be nice to see her in. "Andrew!" I yell and one of my guards parts by my side. "Take the carriage into town with a few other guards. To help her load everything on."
