Chapter 4

The wedding came sooner than we expected for these complete strangers. Yet I had to go to Zane didn't want me home alone seance I was so beautiful. It was the first time anyone besides my mom had ever told me that.

The ride was only an hour or so away and we would pass through my village, no time to stop but on our way back we can say hello to my mother. I put on a nice dress since we would be riding in a carriage and took a different outfit for when I saw my mother. She would be excited to see me actually in a nice dress. Zane was excited to meet my mother as well sense he never really asked for her permeation. We where off out the gates and in the woods. I honestly missed it and I could see the lords son riding around with a young lady. He looked so cute and I couldn't get over it, and when we passed through the lord went and stoped us. "Sir Zane, I know you are busy but my I please take Ms. (Y/n) her mother has fallen ill again and is begging to see her, I was about to ride over to see you. Please sir, she is on her deathbed," he begged and Zane let me out and he got out too.

Quickly I ran to my house and just ran into the door and went to my moms room so quick. "Mom!" I said worded going to her bed side joking her hand. Tears fell from my eyes as Zane and the lord walked in. "Please you have to get better you just have to," I say between sobs.

"My dearest (Y/n) you are looking so beautiful." She said as she wiped a tear from my face. "Is your fiancé with you?" She asked and Zane went over to the bed side, his mask was off. "Oh look at you, handsome beyond what I imagine." She said as her breath began to weekend. "High Preset Zane, I pray to our Lady Irene everyday and I am grateful to have lived a fantastic life,"

"Mom please save your strength you'll get better, you have to, we still are not marred yet you have to be there walking me down," I said as more tears fell from my eyes.  Zane didn't know what to do. He just sat there feeling bad that I would louse my mom. "I lost dad, I can't louse you too," I said and she smiled.

"Your dad is not gone, he's still alive," she said and pointed to a book telling Zane to grab it, he did, Mom let go of my hand opening it to show a map. "Your dad was a merchant, Logan is his name, and we were very young so he left once I told him. You asked why you didn't have a dad and so I lied and said he was dead." I stoped crying and Zane looked at me. "I have not talked to him in so long but we did fine on our own."

"I had no idea," I said and looked at the picture she had of him. They where so young and yet I was in my mom. "And you have not told him,"

"I did and wanted to rase you to be the best young lady but like him he was very strong headed," she said and I could hear her getting weaker. "But you had to know before I passed. Zane take care of her, thanks for feeling with that stubborn young lady," and with her last breath she gave me a small kiss and her body went limp. A guard came in and I was sobbing. I ran to my old room locking the door and not coming out. Zane couldn't even convince me to come out for the wedding, I yelled I'm not going and he said fine but he had to so he left.

I found an old outfit of mine, pants and a shirt jumping out the window and running into the woods. I found my clearing and went to that tree I knocked down. Before I left to live with Zane I came out here that night Bearing something I thought my dad gave me, in the chest I hid a panting I thought was him and a ring that I was told was from there marriage. But I was wrong.

I walk back home, chest in my arms and I see Ok'asis guards around my home. "What are you doing out lady (Y/n)?" On of the guards asked but I didn't answer. I climbed back in the window and he had a me the chest I had. "I will not say a word," the guard said as I closed the window and went to sleep.

~short chapter yeah but I'm working hard with school. I finally got our of special ed and am working very hard. So I hope you enjoyed the chapter and if your sad or crying it's fine that's normal
