~Hey so small note I will not be writing a second part to this story this is the only one, where it ends off in the actual series and that's it. This was like a minny book I was writing just to pass time now that I have very little time its hard to get stuff done. BUT I didn't want to leave the book completed, so it took me months to think of a great thing that would happen but I just never meant to leave it as I did. I'm sorry it was wrong but life happened for me and some really bad shit went down, so again I'm sorry for not updating as much as I probably should have and I do have other things going on, anyways here is the long awaited chapter 13 where we see what happned at the close.
~Your Pov~
I woke up the next morning calmer than normal, I saw Zane was laying with me and our children. I guess I was extra hormonal last night but I just gave birth so it was understandable. I look over and see Zane had his mask off with his hair in his face, I go and move it out of the way and smile, I always loved the scar over his eye and that his freckles covered his face, I did love the man but he was a monster none the less.
Monster. That's what people saw him as and that he had me under some spell but for me to fall in love with a man such as himself was unbelievable. I never thought I would be his wife, I always thought I would be his guard, and his men went and slaughtered half my village along with the last family I had left.
"Good morning," I heard a mumble say as I looked over and found I was still staring at Zane. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to stay here but the babies keep crying and you where knocked out cold from the pain. I had them lay with us just as you wanted." He said moving the covers over them.
"Fitting for a man charging into battle to do what his wife wants," I said getting out of bed to get dressed. "So when do you leave? An hour or two, no wait for its now isn't it?" I told him putting on a robe irritated.
"Must you still be mad at me woman?"
"Must you start a war with a woman who has done nothing wrong to you?" I told him and he shut his mouth, as the covers slipped off him showing all the scars from his fights, seeing that made me feel so weak. "I'm upset Zane," I finally said going to sit by him. "I'm upset because you are charging into a war just to get your brother back to marry a woman he doesn't love, nor does the woman love him. Yes, I know exactly why you want to do this but have you really suffered that much to where you have to drag your family's sanity down with you! Look behind you, sleeping in our marital bed are our children, the very thing you said in our wedding vows you would protect,"
"And I am protecting them, by doing this I will be protecting them."
"And what if you get killed?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.
"If that happens then the children will have a wonderful mother to raise them. You may be my wife (Y/n) but you are also my Lady, the one I turn to when times are hard. If I don't fight to get Garroth and his Fiance back then there will be war throughout the villages! I am doing this to stop a bigger war, the people of Phenox Droop, the lord especially are keeping Nicole hostage!"
"And how do you know? Because lady Katelyn is there reporting back to you?" I said and he nodded. I was over everything I just went out and told him the truth of what I've done when he was gone. "You know what Nicole is not being held hostage by Lady Aphmau! She welcomes people into there village, she even welcomed you and then you go and do dark magic on a baby, A BABY ZANE! Would you did that to our kids now!"
"NO! I would never hurt our kids and why where you in Phenox Droop! I told you not to go there the people are-"
"Are what Zane Ro'meave?"
