Beautifully Broken (Seamus Finnigan x Reader)

Games night

Classes have been over for about three hours now, and Hermione, Ginny and I are figuring out what to wear to our, 'Games Night' "Y/N what do you think of this?" Asks Ginny, she walks out of the out from behind the curtain we set up.
She is wearing a grey jumper with pink skinny jeans, and converses (most likely got that wrong but I tried therefore no one should judge me).

"You look good, it suits you" I say giving her a thumbs up

"Girls I'm about to appear, so prepare to be out fabuloused" says Hermione, I roll my eyes and wait. A few minutes later Hermione comes out wearing a deep red sweater, black skinny jeans and some really comfortable looking shoes.

"You look good Hermione, but wait a minute and I will most definitely look better than the both of you" I say as I get off of my bed and walk bed hind the curtain, I pick out a cute skirt and a weather with some brown heeled boots.

Once deciding that I look presentable I walk out from behind the curtains and the girls smile at me, "trying to impress someone are we?" Asks Ginny, raising an eyebrow, I decide to ignore her comment and check to the time, 7:50 SHIT, "Girls we need to go its 7:50, if we wait any longer we will be late" I say, the girls' eyes widen and we race out of our dorms door.

We sneak out of the common room successfully and make our way to the room of requirements. Once the opening appears we silently walk in making sure that no one followed us. When we walk in we see the boys in a circle, candles and lights have been placed every where and there is a table full of food, they are with Cedrick diggory, cho Chang and a few people I don't know. My heels are clicking lightly on the floor, the boys heads shoot up from looking at the food table/conversations, they see us and they all start smiling, the twins rush over to us and slinging there arms over our shoulders, "hey girls, glad you could make it" says Fred, "yes very glad, and Y/N your  looking lovely tonight" adds George, I roll my eyes for the millionth time today and walk over to the others, waving and smiling at the very few non Gryffindors that have joined us. I stop in front of the food table and grab some pumpkin juice, I take a sip and let the sweet taste sink in to my taste buds.

After a few minutes of having small conversations with Cho and the other girls while we wait to see if there are any other people joining our little get together, I assume no one else is coming and turn to the rest of the group, "ALL RIGHT SHUT IT" I yell trying to get their attention, all yes are on me "ok, so thank you for coming to our little get together, I would like to thank Fred and George for stealing the food from the kitchen it's very much appreciated and I would like to remind every one that if you tell any of the professors about this we will have the twins knock you out and leave you in the middle of the forbidden forest" I say as laughter erupts from the group "ok now we will start off with a good old game of truth or dare get into a circle" i announce, everyone nods and we all sit down in a circle in the middle of the room, "ok so I'll go first" says Ginny, "truth or dare Ron"

"Truth"

"Hmmm, do you think that Hermione is cute?"

"W...what n..no I mean y..es I m...mean, I d..don't think she's horrible looking" he stutters, his face goes bright red, we all laugh at his embarrassment and tell him it's his turn, "umm Y/N truth or dare"

"Dare"

"I can't think of anything" he whines, rolling my eyes again, I take out my phone and search up some truth or dare ideas and then give him the phone to look at, he look kind of confused but then realises what he is meant to do

"I dare you to sit on some one of Ginney's choices lap until you next turn, so Ginney who do you choose" he says, my eyes widen as I look at Ginney, her eyes have mischief glinting in them

"I choose ... Finnigan" she says, 'how did I know', i glare at her as she looks at me with an innocent look on her face, knowing I have no choice I stand up and make my way over to Finnigan, his face is beet red I imagine my face looks exactly the same, carefully I sit in his lap, everyone is looking at us now, the girls have evil looks on their faces, 'as much as I love them I would love to slap them' I am so caught up in my thoughts that I don't even realise that Seamus has snaked his arms around my waist to pull me closer, surprisingly the situation doesn't feel awkward and we stay like that for the rest of the game (No one actually asked me anything after that so I had to stay on his lap not that I mind) the game ends and we move on to eating.

The night progressed with a lot of laughter and playfulness, everyone had a really good time and we decided to call it a night. We snuck everything back and successfully made our way back to the common room. I said my good byes to Cho and the others before we headed in and started to have a quick conversation with the twins, "umm excuse me Y/N" says someone from behind me, his Irish accent lingering in my ears, I instantly know who it is (it's not that hard to guess, but anyway)

"what's up?" I say as I turn around to see him,

"well the hogsmeade holiday is coming up soon and I was wondering if you would like to go with me" he says, (just imagine he is nervous, I am really lazy sorry)

"yea of course I will" I say, he looks at me and smiles

"Cool, good night" he says,

"Good night Finnegan" (I just realised I was spelling his last name wrong this whole time), I go up to him and kiss his cheek, then walk towards the girls who are standing on the first few steps that lead up to the girls dorms, I don't turn back when I hear the boys congratulating him, because my face is as red as a tomato and I wouldn't want him to see it, the girls scream and giggle as they link their arms with mine and drag me up the stairs, they are talking to me about how cute the situation is, but I don't hear any of it all I can think is 'God I can't wait for this weekend'
