~~Flashback~~

"YOU'RE LEAVING!?!" Everyone cried

"B-but I just got here!" said Mahiru "I can't be your replacement in this story! The people will hate me if I'm not as good!"

"It's not forever," said Yume (I can hear your sighs of relief now) "It's just a family matter, I'll be back before you know it!"

"But how will you know where we are?" Kanata asked

"Um ... can I see the route?" Kanata handed Yume the electric map (not a GPS. That thing that Serena uses on the show *only it looks cooler*) anyway, Yume took it and looked at the route.

"Huh, if Fleurrh City is closer then Anistar City why have we ...?" Yume wondered

"Beats me," said Mahiru

"Anyway, I'll meet you there, what do you say?"

"Um ... okay," said Subaru "See you there Tomato,"

~~Flashback End~~

Yume laid in her bed starred at the glow-in-the-dark-star stickers on her ceiling. It felt good to be home but she missed her friends ... a lot. She was also nervous about tomorrow. Her parents said they'd talk about the issue then, but what would be so important that they needed her back home for?

She reached over to her bag and took out a small box (yes, it's Subaru's present) and she hugged it close to her chest. She smiled. It felt like they were all still there.

But ... if she had this box (and whatever it held inside) to help her with missing her friends, then what did they have?

"Dude, you're still awake?" Kanata groaned as he turned over.

"Yeah," Subaru replied "Just ... having trouble sleeping,"

"Me too, want to know why?"

"No,"

"Well could you have trouble sleeping a little quieter please?" Kanata asked, Subaru groaned and rolled his eyes.

It felt quieter to sleep without hearing Yume singing to herself. It was a good quite, he guessed, at least he could get some ... never mind.

"You're always by my side," he sang in a whisper "I know that you will always be. I don't need to run and hide, cause I know you will never leave me"

"Right there till the end, you're my best friend ... I hope it will stay that way, Please may it stay that way ...

"Evermore!"

Their eyes widened.

Sorry for the short chapter, hope the next one will be longer. It's kind of funny that I called it a long night and it's a short chapter XD
