Leigh-Anne
To say I was nervous for the date with Andre would be a big, fat understatement. Just the thought of being alone with him for a whole night made me nauseous. My stomach was in knots.

I wanted to call him and cancel our plans for the evening, but I knew I couldn't do it. There'd be too many questions.

And Perrie would just ask me questions about Jesy.

So I'd rather spend the evening with the man I had seen on and off for a year than be questioned by my best friend about my ex-girlfriend, who I just wanted to forget. She had clearly forgotten about me, so it only made sense that I wanted to try to erase her from my memory as well.

Keyword: try.

Jade posted a picture of her and Jesy on Facebook about an hour ago. I'd stared at it ever since I laid eyes on it. No matter how hard I tried or how many times I reminded myself of what the faux ginger did to me, I couldn't seem to look away from the picture.

No, scratch that - I couldn't seem to look away from Jesy.

Not that I wanted to, either. She looked so beautiful. And she was flashing her billion-dollar-smile at the camera. The smile on her face suited her well. Happiness looked good on her.

"I miss you, you stupid idiot."

I didn't realize I was crying until Harvey jumped up on my lap and started licking me in the face. He always did that when I cried. It was his way of comforting me.

Sniffling, I wrapped my arms around the pug and held him close to my chest. "I'm so happy I have you, Harvey."

Adopting him all those years ago was the best decision I'd ever made. He'd always been there for me, both in good and bad times. He provided me with an infinite amount of love and comfort. At night, when I felt like the loneliest person on planet Earth, he'd bless me with his company and sleep in my bed all night long.

When I had had a bad day at work or when I felt down, Harvey was there. He stayed by my side until I felt better. The little pug didn't leave my side once after Jesy moved out. Just like he almost never left my side now.

He was my best friend. The best friend I'd ever had.

At the sound of a fist making contact with the front door, the pug jumped down from my lap and bolted to the hallway. I switched off my laptop and put it back on the light grey desk in my bedroom. I straightened my white choker-neck-top as I made my way to the door.

Placing my slightly shaking hand on the cold door-handle, I plastered on a fake smile, then I opened the door.

A smile spread across Andre's face as he laid his captivating brown eyes on me. "Hey, beautiful."

"Hi, Andre" I replied softly.

"For you."

He handed me a bottle of Villa Antinori and a bouquet of red roses. I smiled shyly at the good-looking man as I accepted the gifts. Andre smiled back at me, then he aimed his eyes at Harvey, who stood next to me. Smiling, he went down on one knee and patted Harvey behind his ear. Once the pug had had enough, he left the two of us alone.

"Mind if I come inside?" Andre asked softly as he got back up on his feet.

"No, not at all" I smiled.

The ridiculously handsome man stepped inside the dimly lit apartment. Closing and locking the door, he wrapped his muscular arms around my waist and connected his rough lips with mine. I kissed him back quickly, then I pulled away. Andre opened his mouth to say something but closed it when no words came out.
