I woke up feeling rather refreshed considering last night's events. As soon as Garrett and I made it back to the hotel, he immediately pushed me against a wall, paying me back for whatever I had done to him earlier in the car. It was so long ago, that I honestly couldn't remember what I had said or done for this 'punishment'.
I rolled over so I could face Garrett, his arm was snaked around my waist, like always. It was like he thought I was going to get up in the middle of the night and never come back. I guess that's why he is so possessive over me. I stared at him for a solid minute, taking in every detail of him. His hair was starting to grow red streaks in his chocolate brown hair. I wonder if his mom or dad had red hair.
He was so relaxed when he slept, that his chest rapidly moved up and down with each breath. I swear, his eyelashes had to be longer than mine. It's so unfair.
There was something about a man sleeping that was so cute. His hair was very messy but, it was rather hot.
"Are you done staring at me?" He whispered, making my breath get caught in my throat. I was rather embarrassed that he had caught me staring at him. His eyes were still closed, I guess he could sense someone looking at him.
"Sorry, am I not allowed to look at my boyfriend?" I sassed back, remembering the comment he made yesterday in the car.
His eyes shot open, giving me a look before narrowing them into silts. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
I laughed, "Nope, I'm just sassy as always!" I pecked him on the cheek, snuggling closer to him. I could picture him rolling his eyes, he eventually placed his leg in between mine letting our limbs wrap up in each other again.
We stayed like that for at least twenty minutes before my phone started to ring. I groaned reaching for it. "Hello?" I mumbled.
"Hey, baby sis."
I took a deep breath, "You are twelve minutes older than me, shut up,"
"Anyways, I'm calling to invite you and the guy you stole from me to Red Rock Canyon Park."
"Like hiking?"
"Yes."
"Hang on, let me ask Garrett." I placed Matt on speaker, tapping Garrett on the shoulder, "Babe."
"What?" He mumbled into the pillow.
"Matt wants us to go hiking with him."
"Right now?"
Matt responded, "Yes, get up and let's go. I'll knock on your door in like twenty." He abruptly ended the call and I groaned, not wanting to get out of this warm bed.
"Hopefully you can walk, I was a bit rough on you last night." Garrett winked at me, sitting up on the bed, letting the covers fall revealing his abdomen.
I sighed, "Let's see." I stood and started walking to my bag of clothes. The first step I took I could feel a throbbing pain in my uterus. "Oh gosh."
He laughed, getting out of bed and standing in front of me grabbing my hips and pulling them closer, "There's more where that came from, don't make me mad baby."
I rolled my eyes, breaking away from his grasp, and searched my suitcase for something to wear. I pulled out a pair of navy Columbia shorts and a tank top changed into it. I put my hair into a French braid, placed a navy Nike hat on top of my head, and put on a pair of running shoes. I put a few coats of mascara on, nothing else since I would probably sweat it off.
There was finally a knock on the door and I rushed to get it, revealing Savannah and Matt. I let them walk inside and they gasped, "Oh my god, this place is gorgeous!" Sav squealed.
