Once upon a time, we found ourselves under a golden sky,

The stars were diamonds, furiously sparkling.

Melted dreams turned into beautiful lullabies,

And flowers were thrown as we were walking.

Our golden cribs, our laced dresses,

The silky embroider in our gowns.

Merry dances, mirrored glasses,

Angels glancing at us from far above the dawn.

On our knees, we’ve prayed, so many nights

To a God who has blessed us from birth.

Memories came; the dark world, the fight

After that, there was a point we couldn't go further.

Oh, so high was the price we've paid for our innocence!

Too painful was the result of our naivety.

May God in Heaven forgive the sins of our adolescence

And open His gates to four souls marked with cruelty.
