One Day

Maybe not in this lifetime,

But one day you’ll be my life.

The forgotten dreams will come true

We’ll find a place for me and you

Maybe not in this world,

But one day you’ll be my world.

No more things for us to hide,

You will be standing by my side.

I’ll say you’re mine, full of pride.

Maybe not like we have dreamt together

But one day you will be my dream, forever.

No one else to be on our way

No bad memories to fade away.

No doubts consuming us day by day.

No more struggles and no more fight.

Believe me, it will all be alright.
