Six Months

143 10 8

Out of sight, out of mind.

Should I go try to find

A new life, a new ride?

Should I stay, should I hide?

Should I change who I am

And pretend it was in vain?

Should I try to forget

Someone I’ve never met?

I so wish I could fly,

Sometimes I even try.

But you’re so far away,

That’s the price I must pay.

Maybe in another life

We will be free of strife.

Until then, I will fight

To have you by my side.

Six months, a blink of an eye;

Six months to change our lives;

Six months and then no more cry;

Only six months separating us now.

(Inspiration: Russian song "30 Minut")
