I felt confident walking into school in my new clothes. I had on white shorts, a black tight fitting crop top and black heels. Everyone had their eyes on me, a few boys here and there would wolf whistle or make some comment about my ass while a few girls would tell me how cute I looked and id return the favor.
I didn't pay any mind to any of the other boys and made my way straight to Josh. He was laughing with his friends then turned to look at me when his friends did.
He licked his lips, looking me up and down. "Amazing." He breathed. He reached his arm out, wrapping it around my waist and pulling me to his side. I let him. I have a new found trust in him.
"What are you two like a thing now?" Josh's friend, I think his name is brendon, asked. "Not yet, sweetheart." I replied. Josh's eyes widened and he looked down at me. I smiled. He smirked.
I turned my body to face him, running my finger in random patterns over his chest. "So when are you taking me on that date?" I asked. "Whenever you want." He replied. "Tonight?" I asked biting my lip. "Deal.. I'll pick you up say six and we'll go out to eat, maybe watch a movie after or go for a drive." He said.
I smiled just as the bell rang. "Sounds perfect. Text me cause I'm going to get bored in class." I said before walking away. He smiled as I left. His friends all jumped on him, screaming about how lucky he is and blah blah blah.
I smiled to myself and made my way to class. I got a message about half way through.
Josh: hey :)
Me: hi :)
Josh: so what class are you in?
Me: chemistry :p
Josh: oh cool I love Chemistry.. I don't have a class right now.
Me: then come take this class for me cause I hate it
Josh: why do you hate it?
Me: cause we do a shit ton of lab work and experiments and they make me anxious.
Me: like what if I do something wrong and blow up the school?
Josh: I'm sure nothing like that will happen.
Me: still
Josh: are you doing any lab work today?
Me: yeah :(
Me: we're doing something that involves fire
Me: me and fire don't mix well
Me: I once set my stove on fire trying to make ramen
Josh: how do you even manage that?
Me: I don't know
Josh: do you have chemistry with Mrs. Leblanc or Mr. Barret?
Me: Mr. Barret
Josh: oh he sucks
Me: mhm
Me: Josh?
Me: did your phone die or something?
Me: ...
There was a knock at the door. Mr. Barret went over and opened it. "Mr. Dun, what can I do for you today?" He asked. I perked up. "I don't have a class right now and thought I'd come sit in here if that's alright." Josh said. "Oh yeah be my guest." Mr. Barret said letting Josh into the classroom.
I smiled when he came over and sat by me. He helped me with today's project and by helped I mean I sat there and watched while he did it for me. He didn't seem to mind though.
After school I went home to get ready for our date. I got a shower, touched up my makeup and fixed my hair. By the time I finished I got a text from Josh.
Josh: I'm on my way now
Josh: no rush though if your not ready yet it's fine I can wait :)
Me: no I'm ready
Josh: okay
I went downstairs and slipped my shoes on while I waited. When Josh's car pulled up I hopped in. He was wearing black pants and a button up shirt. He looked nice. "You look amazing, as always." He said. I smiled. "So do you." I said.
He smiled and we we're off.
