Her fingers were spread from the hand that was directed towards me. All was still. Queen Elsa was infuriated as she allowed her ice to nearly end me.

I just laughed, "I call your bluff, Your Majesty."

"Prince Hans, we are not the same."

"Are you sure? Because I'm firm that we are. Think about it. We have our flaws."

"Stop playing with me. I know what you're up to!" I stepped back as the ice neared the skin of my neck. She put her hand down, retracting the ice, and her breathing slowed, "Yes, we have our flaws. But I've learned to lose focus on them, unlike you. You embrace them."

"You're right, Queen Elsa. I embrace my flaws and negative traits. I'm evil, you're good. I'm still the monster that tried to kill you and your sister."

I just remained speechless. I was so easily defeated once again by the ice sorceress. Her crystal eyes gazed at the damp walls as we both were engulfed by quiet. I wanted to apologize and ask for forgiveness— it was the only thing I could do that seemed... Right.

"Queen Elsa, I know what I've done is definitely wrong and there's nothing I can do in my power to take it all back. I'm not worthy of asking anything of you but there's forgiveness and redemption. Let me just say I'm sor-"

"Your trial is in two days. Your crimes are punishable by execution." She walked briskly to the door.

I stopped her, "Why don't you just kill me already? I almost killed you before, so why don't you finish the job this time? I'm tempting you because I know it's the one thing you wish to pursue!"

Queen Elsa opened the door. She looked out, hesitant, "No... I'm not going to be the monster you are."

She shut the door behind her.

Once again I was shut out.

Shut out because it was the only way to avoid the monster.
