Charlie's pov...
I tries to scream, but no sound came out. Then THUD! I hit the ground painfully. I sat up "Ok..." I said outloud to myself "In grandpa conner's book, Alec and Connie Baxter landed in the Dwarf forest on a path littered with pencils." I stood up and scaned my surroundings, spinning in circles until I was dizzy. I looked to the side of the path and found random pencil pieces everywhere. Yes! I did a fist pump. Then I heard hoofs approching from further down the winding path. I sprinted to the nearest tree next to the path and hid behind it out of view from the path. Strolling down the dirt path was a family all on horse back except for one elderly woman in an open carriage. She sat there with a little girl next to her. She wore an old slightly tattered maroon jacket and her pure white hair was in a braid that fell to the side over her sholder. Her face looked like it had once been full of extreme natural beauty, though it still does it also wears its natural sign of age. The man riding the horse attached to the carriage was strong and fit. He wore red plaid and jeans with suspenders and looked like a lumber jack. He had a kind smile as he chatted joyously with his family. There was a young couple behind them. The fair lady kind blue eyes and a gentle smile, lush auburn hair, and a glamourous riding outfit. Her husband was strong and fit much like the man carrying the carriage. He had dark hair, a strong chin and baby blue eyes full of youth. Behind them was one final horse holding two boys, one about my age and the other about eight. The boy my age was tall, slender, muscular and handsome with electric blue eyes that glowed with energy and excitment, and a friendly smile. The other boy was short and plump with large rosy cheeks and a loving exspression.
"Jack?" The woman in the carriage called out. "Yes my love, what is it?" The man in front of her reply happily. "I feel like we're being watched she leaned in and whispered. I gasped, how did she know! Jack slowed the carriage "You sure Goldie?" He asked curiously. She nodded certainly. "Mama? Papa? What's wrong? Their son asked looking over at his wife and sons. "Every thing is ok Hero. Your mom just senses someone's presence" Jack replyed calmly. "Out here in the woods" asked Hero's wife with a concerned look. " Come on out, we won't hurt you!" Goldie said with a smile. I peeked out from behind the tree and stepped into their view. Goldie and Jack gasped in perfect unison. I steps back nervously, "What did I do?" They both smiled. Sorry dear you look like one of our friends. Her name is Alex Bailey. Are you related to the Bailey's by any chance?" Goldie asked excitedly. "Yeah, Alex is my great aunt and Conners my Grandpa. Those Bailey's?" I asked also getting excited. "Yes!!!!!! Let me introduce you to my family." Jack said. "This is Goldilocks, that's Hero, that's princess Hope of charming Kingdom, and that's Jacque and Gus Gus, the little girl is Sunshine, and I'm Jack." Wait like goldilocks and the three bears? Jack and the beanstock? Jacque and Gus Gus as in Cinderella's mice? "Of course! I read about you in my Grandpa's stories!" I exclaimed, glad to have some answers. " Why are you here? Where is your grandfather? Does he know you're here?" Goldilocks asked curiously. " Well... not... exactly!" I answered sheepishly. " Well, we're on our way to go to banquet in honor of him, we just need to make some stops on the way, come join us, please I insist. It's not very safe here." Hero suggested. I shrugged, what did I have to lose. Gus Gus got off of his horse and climbed onto his mother's and I rode with a Jacque, which made us both really happy!Hey its Sonny B! Hope you're enjoying the story so far but it's not over yet! Keep a look out for the next chapter!
