We trotted down the path towards the Charming Kingdom. Charlie held on to my waist so she didn't fly off. She told us amazing stories about the Otherworld. It's hard to believe that her family, desendants of the amazing Conner Bailey, doesn't believe in magic! We'd have to fix that. Anyway we rode for hours, and finally entered the charming kingdom. It really lives up to the name, for it is a charming kingdom. When we neared the town and all the buildings grew in to large estates, Charlie's expression brightened. She was amazed such a wonderful place exsisted. Honestly of all the kingdoms I'm glad this will be mine one day! When the palace came into view I heard Charlie gasp in awe. I slowed down to let her soak in the moment. My mom turned around and called out "Are you two love birds coming?!" I felt myself blush, and was glad she was behind me so she wouldn't see my expression. She didn't seem to notice what my mom said so I spurred the horse and we trotted to catch up. We arrived at the castle and dismounted. I helped Charlie down and the servants took the horses to the stables until our next journey. Grandpa Jack helped Grandma Goldie out of the carriage. "Hey, Jacque? Why does Goldilocks seem so fragile? In Grandpa's story she was always so energetic, she fought criminals while she was 9 months pregnant for pity sake!" Charlie asked. "Look closer at her expression." I instructed. She looked observantly looked at Goldilock's face. Then I could almost she the lightbulb in her head light up. "Ooooooh right! Aunt Alex said she broke a hip, her face soooo reads that she doesn't want the extra help!" I chuckled. Thats Grandma alright! We climbed the hundred steps to the only entrance in the whole castle, and was greeted by former Queen Cinderella, My other Grandma! Grandma Cinderella looks just like my mom except older. She is the kindest person alive! And Charlie just about fainted when she saw Cinderella!!! "Who is this fine young ladie Jacque?" Grandma Cinderella prompted. "This is Charlotte Black, she's Conner Bailey's granddaughter!" At this grandma smiled "Oh dear! How is your Grandpa?!"
"Um, I'm not sure. I'm trying to find him. And please call me Charlie!" At this Grandpa Chance's smile grew. "I have a brother named Charlie" he mentioned. Charlie started to laugh. "Why are you laughing?" he asked. "My Grandpa Conner wrote stories about his adventures here! I'm assuming that your talkimg about the long lost charming brother that was turned in a frog by an evil goat witch lady and my grandpa called Froggy, and married that nimrod Red?" Goldilocks burst out laughing! "Yep thats the one, just no one tell Red you said that about her!!!" Goldilocks managed to say between chuckles. Well we better get a good night rest before the banquet tomorrow at Center Kingdom. Everyone went inside and to their chambers. Grandma Goldie and Grandpa Jack have a designated guest chamber because they're my dad's parents and my mom and her parents wanted them to feel welcome. Originally they had a designated one to make sure they where always in a room with out anything too valuable, so they had nothing to steal, but then they became a regular just so it worked out just right (get it Goldilocks likes things just right!) and obviously my siblings each have their own room because, well, we live here! As everyone left for their rooms I turned around and saw Charlie talking to grandma Cinderella. I hope she likes it here. ;)
