The next day. I wasn't looking forward to it....I wasn't looking forward to anything anymore that tied to ... this town. Beacon Hills.

Even though the town wasn't to blame. I needed something right now to fill the guilt of the domino effect, that I caused.

Theo says it's not my fault, thankfully. Though he's the only one, it helped. But, all I really cared for was....Beth. And still not a word from her, which worried me.

So, I force distractions to distance myself from insanity by, going to school. Pre-thinking didn't occur, and if it did I guess....I guess I wanted something to happen to me. Whether it was Gabe, Liam, or Monroe. I wanted some sort of recognition of my wrong doing on either side. I just....wanted to feel something.

I guess you could say that "feeling" was filled a few hours in the vortex of what started it all.

-----------------------------------

A few hours in school, I got many stares from all sides. I even got stares from Monroe, and that was pretty much it from her. It was as she was telling me how disappointed she was, without saying anything but sending stares.

Then it happened.

I was in the boys locker room, when a group of Monroe followers and Gabe surround me

I was in the boys locker room, when a group of Monroe followers and Gabe surround me.

"Nolan." Gabe says as if I can't see that he's right in front of me. I sigh, assuming that this was an ambush but being too numb to run I stand there.

"Gabe-" But before I could say anymore two of my lacrosse team mates grab my arms. I stand there as Gabe sends punches to my face.

When he's finished I spit onto the ground, and groan in pain.

"See Nolan! See what happens when you trade sides. See what happens when you become a traitor?!" Asked a distraught Gabe. I raise an eyebrow at his demeanor, but shake it off.

"Go on! I'm not ashamed of stopping innocent bloodshed! I'd do it again, come on guys we aren't murders-" I prepare to say but Gabe send another punch.

"We're warriors!" Yells Gabe, and the group follows after him.

"For Gerald?" I ask.

"For Beacon Hills." Gabe says again, and I sigh.

"That's why we'll keep up the killings of the unwanted. Starting with your pet, Beth." He says, and I break from the two boys and charge at Gabe sending pushes his way.

For a moment he's thrown of by my force, even I'm a little shocked. But, I soon get overpowered by the people in the room.

"You couldn't touch her." I say, and he laughs before spitting on the ground.

"Oh, I already did." He says, and my face goes mute.

"Also, I uh.....I made sure to give proper credit to the culprit who ambushed Scott's pack, you. I made sure to tell Monroe too." He says, and I feel my pulse increase.

"W-why would you do that?" I asked confused, and scared.

"Oh, isn't it obvious Nolan? You're out, and now official the enemy to US." He chuckles again before cuing for the boys to release me.

"By the way, I also let half the school know who ambushed the alpha. Word travels fast, so..... I'd leave school before the IED finds out that you almost killed his alpha's mother." He laughs again before leaving.

A few of the guys stay after....to send a special message from Monroe. Punches, and kicks were sent my way. But the pain was mask with the ultimate dreaded thought.

"What have they done with Beth?"
