the book of secrets
i was clinging onto so dearly
soon became a point of interest
for many of my peerswhat's in that notebook of yours
they asked
the answers to why i am who i am.
come.
take a sip
of my secrecy.i shared my thoughts
with you
who craved them
with you
who begged incessantly
for me to reveal to you
my madness.
with you
who ignored me
the moment I was finally ready
to share such a
delicate part of me
with youlike a person
who had at long last
gained the courage
to bear their nakedness
their innermost being
to their lover
that looked away
at the sight
