Y/N's POV
It was a sunny day out, I was saying goodbye to my old home, my parents found jobs that require us moving, don't get me wrong, I was so happy that we're moving! I love meeting new people, I never really had a friend so here's my chance! A good brand new start?
"Y/N?" Mom says to me...
"Yes, Mom? Sorry.." I say with a chuckle, my mother always was a happy woman.
"This is our new home!" My father shouts.
"Hun, you don't need to shout we are right here.." My Mom says to Dad.
"I'm just so excited!"
"We are too Dad." I giggle.
"Y/N, Your Father and I can handle moving in for now, would you like to meet the neighbors? Your father and I have already and they are expecting you" Mom suggested.
"W-what if they d-don't like me?" I stutter, I have a habit of doing that at times...
I walk over to their home, I knock on the door.
"Hi! I'm your new neighbor!" I say to a girl with a ponytail, she looks like a teen, a tad older than I.
"Hey, I'm Summer!" She says,
"Come in?"
I take my shoes off and enter their home.
"You must be the new neighbor! I'm Beth, this is my Husband Jerry!"
Beth points to Jerry, Jerry was not paying attention.
"Who let you in?" Jerry spoke.
"Excuse me?" I say confused.
"I'm sorry Y/N, My husband doesn't pay attention much, he is-"
"A total idiot!" An elderly man comes into the room.
"I-I'm *ERUP* Rick." Rick held out his hand, he reaks of alcohol.
I take his hand and shake it.
"You don't have to be so formal.." I chuckle.
"I like *erup* you.." Rick said patting my head.
"Wanna help me in the garage?" Rick asks.
"Sounds fun!" I cheer.
"Dad, just don't harass her!" Beth says.
"Woah, chill alright? She's like Morty's age!" Rick says laughing.
"Morty?" I whisper to myself.
"Come on *ERUP* toots, let's get moving!" He pushes me to the garage.
"Oh help!" I say sarcastically, "I'm being touched!" Rick looks at me and laughs, "You remind me of myself *ERUP* kid, dead, cold and sarcastic, let's not mention it doesn't seem like you give a fuccckkk!!!"
"You're absolutely right, wow," I say so surprisedly.
"I can read people like a book, *ERUP* Y/N, I'm a genius, not an idiot, like Jerry."
I giggle at the way he says, Jerry.
"H-here we *ERUP* are Y/N." Rick says opening the door.
