"Lilly! Wake up the plane's landed" yelled my dad, shaking my shoulder.

Normally I would be super pissed at this but not today. Today I'm finally going to see Nash after 2 years apart!

When we were 15 I moved to LA and left Nash, my best friend, behind in North Carolina, it was honestly one of the saddest days of my life. Life in LA was pretty boring without him, but we called every night just to keep in touch.

We've been talking about my move back for months, planning all the things we could get to do together. Have a movie night, go skateboarding, visit our old set of swings in the park... I couldn't wait.

When we arrived back at the same house we lived in before, I immediately called Nash,

"Lilly! Are you here yet?"

"Yeah! I just got back to my house"

"Come over!"

"Ok, be there in 15"

I hung up, running to my room to chuck on some sweatpants and Nash's sweater he gave me when I left. I quickly touched up my long dark brown hair and sprinted out the door. He only lived about 5 minutes away so the walk wouldn't be too tiring

When I saw the familiar big white house in the distance, I starting jogging, 2 years was leading up to this moment.

I rung the doorbell, swaying back and forth on my feet, waiting impatiently. Footsteps grew louder and louder until...

"NA- Hayes? Oh my god you're so tall now!" I exclaimed, ruffling up his hair

"Good to see you too Lil," he grinned, trying to fix his hair again,

"Nash is in the living room, I think he'll be happy to see you but- "

I walked past him quickly, not hearing the rest of what he was going to say,

"NASH!!!" I yelled, stepping into the living room

"LILLY!" Nash yelled back, engulfing me in a big hug, resting his chin on my head.

I thought Hayes was tall now but compared to Nash, Nash was a giant!

It felt like forever before I pulled away from his strong grip, looking into those perfect blue eyes, I couldn't have been any happier until I saw her...

"Who's this?" I ask, gesturing to the fake-blonde stick-thin girl sitting on the couch.

"Oh that's Riley, my girlfriend"

My mind was spinning, I couldn't think straight. A girlfriend? Nash never told me he had a girlfriend. When did they start dating? Why didn't he tell me? Did he not think I was a good best friend?

My thoughts were interrupted,

"I'm gonna go get some food ok, I'll be right back" Nash said, walking out of the room.

I awkwardly sat down on the couch opposite Riley.

"Who are you?" Spoke an annoying, whiney voice, coming directly from the mouth of Riley,

"Um... I'm Lilly" I replied in the least awkward way possible.

"No no I know that but WHO are you?" she asked again in her stupid little voice,

"Oh, I'm Nash's best friend, I moved away 2 years ago and we've spoken every night since then" I stated, I was kinda proud of our friendship.

"Ohhh that's weird, he's never talked about you before" she said with a smirk on her face,

I honestly would have tackled her to the ground and slapped that stupid smirk off her face unless Nash hadn't stepped in at that exact moment.

"How are we doing in here?" He asked, setting some chips onto the coffee table.

"Fine baby!" Squealed Riley, jumping off the couch, basically slobbering all over Nash's face.

Was that vomit I just tasted in my mouth?

They finally stopped their drool fest and Riley smiled at me innocently, was this bitch for real?

Nash had put on a movie and sat down beside me, quickly moving spots when Riley gave him a death glare. I raised my eyebrow at him and he gave me an apologetic look, slinging his arm over Riley's shoulder.

I looked back at the TV screen and it took me a while to realise what the move was... Titanic, mine and Nash's movie.

This was meant to be our special night, our special reunion with our special movie. But it wasn't. It was the complete opposite.
