I woke up the next morning with Nash's arms wrapped tightly around me, it wasn't something I wanted to leave but I had to get ready for school.

I slid myself out of his arms, hoping to not wake him but it didn't work,

"Lil? Where are you going?" Nash croaked in his raspy morning voice.

"I have to go home and get ready for school, I'll meet you at the front gate ok?" I said, picking up my prom dress and shoes.

"I'll miss youu" he whined, stretching his arm out to me.

I rolled my eyes,

"It's only going to be an hour or two, you'll live"

"Fineeee" he huffed, pulling the blankets over his head.

When I got home I changed into some high waisted shorts, a knitted sweater and my favourite pair of vans. My hair was still curly from the night before but my makeup was a disgrace. I quickly removed it and put on my normal makeup.

My stomach rumbled, but I didn't have enough time to eat breakfast so I grabbed a muesli bar and ate it while I was skating to school.

When I arrived at the gates Nash was already there, from afar he looked normal but up close he was far from it. His eyes were still a little bit puffy and there were bags under his eyes. I felt bad for him.

"Hey Nashypoo are you ready to go in?" I asked, standing in front of him. He bit the inside of his cheek for a bit before answering,

"Ready as I'll ever be Lillypoo"

And with that we walked through the doors and into the hallway. I could tell he was looking out for Riley by the way his eyes darted around nervously.

It didn't take long for her to appear though,

"Babyyyy" whined her annoying little voice as she wrapped her arms around Nash's neck.

He looked extremely uncomfortable, leaning slightly away from her, his eyes desperately flicking from her to me.

"What's wrong baby? Why aren't you hugging me back?" She asked, waiting for Nash to reply. He didn't.

"Is this about last night baby? Because if it is I wasn't thinking ok? I love youuu not himmm" she said, pressing herself against him.

"Riley, I think we should have a little time off... Or a lot of time off..." Nash said, lightly pushing her off.

Her face was priceless.

"Ugh!!! Why are you so complicated!!!" She screamed, stomping her foot and walking over to me,

"You're going to pay for making him like this" she snarled in my ear, then casually walking off like nothing happened.

I looked over to Nash and raised my eyebrow, which was returned by a cheeky little smirk, just as the bell went.

I met up with Emma in my first class, I had a lot to tell her.

"Lilly! What happened last night?" She asked as I sat down beside her,

"Nash caught Riley cheating on him with some random guy at prom" I replied, taking out my books.

"What the hell?" Emma said, shaking her head,

"And where did you go afterwards? You didn't come to my house..." She said, slightly smirking.

"Nash's house" I muttered,

"And...?" She pressed on,

"I stayed there for the night" I said, biting the inside of my lip.

"Oooh" Emma said in a sing-song voice,

"No! Not like that" I groaned, slapping her arm,

"If you say sooo" she teased.

Later that day Cameron came up to Emily and I,

"Hey guys I'm having a party tonight at my house, my parents and my sister are away on vacation so the house is all mine." He said, his hands in his pocket.

I looked over to Emma who was gawking at him. God help this poor lovesick child.

"Yeah we'd love to come" I stepped in before Emma embarrassed herself somehow.

"Cool, see you guys tonight" Cameron said, walking back down the hall.

I pulled out my phone and texted Nash

Me: you coming to cam's party?

Nashypoo: yeah, you're coming too?

Me: yep
