Chapter 11

"Hey, Lilly" he said, turning my chin towards him. I forced myself to look into his eyes and all of a sudden he smashed his lips against mine. Our lips moved in sync, my arms around his neck and his around my waist. When we pulled away, I breathed a sigh of relief.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while" Nash stated, biting his lip slightly.

"So have I" I said, grinning at him.

"So um do you maybe w-wanna be um my girlfriend" Nash stuttered out, his cheeks going red.

"Of course" I replied.

And with that, Nash pulled me back in for another kiss, this one was longer and more meaningful, I never wanted it to end.

Nash drove us back to his house and I changed into some sweatpants and Nash's sweater.

"Movie night?" I asked, sitting beside him on the couch.

"Definately" he agreed, putting on Love Actually, one of my favourite movies. It was cute that he liked watching chick flicks with me.

He pulled me into his lap and I lay my head on his chest as the movie began to play.

"I want to stay like this forever" I whispered.

"So do I Lil, so do I" Nash whispered back.

We must have both fallen asleep while watching the movie because we woke up and the birds were all chirping outside as the sun was rising.

I untangled myself from Nash's body, leaving a quick kiss on his forehead.

I walked home and quickly texted him

Me: I went home to get ready for school, meet you at the school gates xx

I put on some ripped high waisted shorts with an old t-shirt tucked in, along with my all black converse.

I skated to school as usual, eating my breakfast on the way.

Nash was waiting at the front gates, leaning against the fence. When he saw me his face lit up.

"Hey Lil" he said, pulling me in for a quick kiss.

We linked our fingers and walked through the halls, earning a few looks from people, including Riley who had a skanky look on her face as we walked past.

The school bell rang and Nash quickly gave me a kiss on the cheek, leaving me to go to his classes. It sucked that we didn't have any classes together.

I sat down next to Emma in my first class and passed her a note

Guess what

What?

Nash kissed me

WHAT??!?

And then he asked me to be his girlfriend

During lunch I sat at a table with Emma Nash and Cameron. It was all going really well until Riley and her skank friends sat at the table opposite us.

Nash quickly grabbed my hand under the table.

I was only a few bites into my lunch when some sandwich crusts hit me right in the side of the head

"I see that you're with Nash now and I thought you would want more of my leftovers" sneered Riley.

I felt Nash tense up beside me and I ran my thumb over his hand.

"Don't listen to her" I whispered so only he could hear.

Emma glanced at me from across the table before standing up and walking towards Riley,

"Listen up bitch, you were the one who cheated on Nash at prom and Lilly was the only one who was there for him. You're a stuck up little skank and you never deserved Nash in the first place"

She yelled, causing a few people to look at her.

Riley gasped, jumping out of her seat, slapping Emma across the face.

I turned around and Cameron was fuming, he walked right up to Riley, towering over her in a menacing way.

"Watch your fucking back Riley Edwards and don't ever EVER do something like that again" he growled, taking Emma's hand and leaving the cafeteria.

"Well shit" said someone from the crowd that now formed around our two tables.

"Come on" Nash mumbled behind me. We pushed our way through the crowd and left the cafeteria, following Cam and Emma's footsteps.
