Thorin rose his head as he heard strange machinery noises turning to sees cracks form
in the sand on the floor of the cave. Tala follows suit a second after, her eyes widening.

"Wake up. Wake up!" Thorin shouts. However, before anyone could react, the floor of the cave collapsed downwards. The
entire Company falls down a chute, slides through a tunnel, and lands in a giant wooden cage. As they struggle
to get up, a horde of goblins swarm them.

Tala grunted as she faced off with them, kicking those that came close to her. As the goblins force the company to move, she spies Bilbo dropping to his hands and knees, leaving him unseen as the others are taken away.

Good, she thinks. Someone got away. As they move, despite the fight they put up, the goblins take away their weapons. As the company is lead away kicking and yelling, bats fly in the darkness. Bilbo drew his sword, which is glowed a bright blue, the Hobbit slowly followed the horde.

However, he was stopped by a goblin leaping in front of him. There is a skirmish, before the two fall down into the caves.

Meanwhile, the goblin horde drags the company through a vast network of tunnels and wooden bridges to the throne room, towards the platform of the Great Goblin. The Great Goblin is a massive, sitting on a throne, holding a mace topped with a skull.

He is far larger than any other goblin, and he is incredibly ugly, with warts all over his chin swinging. The dwarves' weapons are piled together, as well as Tala's. The Great Goblin jumps off his throne, trampling several goblins, and approaches the Company.

"Who would be so bold as to come armed into my kingdom? Spies? Thieves? Assassins?"

"Dwarves, Your Malevolence." One of the goblins replied.

"Dwarves?" The goblin King asked.

"We found them on the front porch."

"Well, don't just stand there; search them! Every crack, every crevice." The goblin King orders.

The goblins search the dwarves thoroughly, throwing away whatever they find. Oin's hearing trumpet is thrown on the floor and crushed underfoot.

"What are you doing in these parts? Speak!" The goblin King growls when he gets no answer. "Well then, if they will not talk, we'll make them squawk! Bring out the Mangler! Bring out the Bone Breaker! Start with... What and who is this?" The King stopped as he noticed Tala. "A woman amongst your company?"

The dwarves close around Tala as best they can. However, she keeps her hard eyes trained on the great goblin. She was not afraid, besides, they only took her obvious weapons, so she was still armed.

"Being her forward!" The goblin ordered. The other goblins attacked the dwarves around her as the others grabbed Tala's arms and pulled her forward. "What are you?"

"I'm a fairy." Tala stated. Thorin watched, doing his best to hide his worry. Although his heart pounded as he anxiously watched Tala speak to the great goblin.

Tala didn't falter as she spoke to the goblin King, although she didn't make things better, as she angered him with her words. She was tossed back with the dwarves and she hit the platform hard.

"Start with the fairy!"

"Wait." Thorin said, stepping forward.

"Well, well, well, look who it is. Thorin son of Thrain, son of Thror; King under the
Mountain." The Great Goblin bows exaggeratedly to Thorin. "Oh, but I'm forgetting, you don't have a mountain. And you're not a king. Which makes you nobody, really. I know someone who would pay a pretty price for your head. Just the head, nothing attached. Perhaps you know of whom I speak, an old enemy of yours. A Pale Orc astride a White Warg."
