Savannah Pov:

I could not catch Katelyn as her father collapsed. Her dad was scrambling to pick up her back up again.

"Leave her there, she is still breathing," I told him as I teleported by their sides. Her sides lifted faintly and her nostrils flared slightly as she took each desperate breath. Her pulse barely registered under my fingertips as I held her wrist. I grimaced openly as I rolled her towards myself.

"She was stabbed by someone who I can only assume was one of her kidnappers." Kate's dad answered my question before I could formulate the words to speak. I nodded and gently rolled the torn t-shirt up.

"It's a good thing that you removed that knife, I could never imagine this wound looking any worse," I mumbled half to myself. Katelyn's stomach was painted like the night sky. Angry stripes of black, blue, purple, green, and red spanned outwards from the open wound.

"I didn't..." Katelyn's dad started before stuttering into concerned babbling. My hand gently balanced itself against her stomach. I began to heal her wound only to be thrown back across the clearing.

"Savannah!" Bear yelled as Clark ran up to my side. Clark places his hand against my stomach as I began to regain my wits. My own blood was soaking heavily through the shirt.

"I can't heal your wound." Clark cried out as he stepped away while grabbing his hand. A small amount of blood was now leaking through his white shirt as I stood back up on my feet. I attempted to reactivate my powers only for a dizzying headache to take hold of my senses.

"The knife is still in that wound." Mïka and I chorused each other word for word as I trudged towards Katelyn.

"On second thought, get Katelyn inside of Cara, I would rather do stitches within an invisible, force field surrounded the vehicle," I ordered as I scanned my own wound. When mom had rejected my healing powers something had shifted to make my eyes work. A fact that I was now eternally grateful for. We all loaded onto Cara and I activated the invisibility functions before pulling out an old first aid kit.

The healing may clearly wouldn't work since it was a precharged battery of Clark's and my own healing powers. I disinfected the wound in horror as the white cloth soaked up multicoloured blood.

"The knife was a lot bigger than that." Kate's father murmured nervously. With pliers, I was able to pull out a small shard of metal from the open wound while the others watched. No one dared breathe out of line in fear of me messing up.

"She needs to be treated." Mïka spoke out of line. I glared up at him before frowning.

"Well that's a given, but who can we trust except for those of us in this room?" Bear grumbled aloud while he continued to monitor Katelyn's vital signs.

"Even then we don't really trust you or Rin." I drawled while feeling rather unsure of myself. My powers were all returning, but I still didn't have the same certainty that I normally did.

"The vėdanï métal has already dissolved into her bloodstream, without professional treatment she couldn't have more than two hours left to live." Mïka replied while returning my glare. I stood up so that the tall 'supposed' alien was not towering over me quite as much as before.

"And what do you propose we do?" I asked as a challenge as Bear continued tending to the major wound on Katelyn's stomach.

"We can go to the spêtsïalen headquarters, they can do a lot better than you could." Mïka replied in a tone that indicated that he had not meant to insult my skills the way he had. A small part of me was tempted to punch him in the face as hard and as fast as my powers permitted, but there was already far too worthless bloodshed today.

"How can you bring up your precious government headquarters at a time like this?" Bear snarled as he dove to tackle Mïka. Some one clearly had forgotten to give Bear his C & S. (Coffee and Space.) My brother tended to lack the same amount of 'control' as other members of the family, and he was prone to rather violent outbursts as Mïka was only now finding out.

"The government wants to hand us over to the people who killed our mom." Clark whispered as he attempted to drag our brother away from the cowering fool of an alien. Bear's super strength meant that Clark just hung off of his older brothers shoulders as he was dragged along. Chaos ensued as Rin attacked the one powerless person in the room out of annoyance.

"It might be our only choice." I spoke above the screaming and fighting. Everyone in the room froze as I spoke. I stepped towards my brawling brothers and telekinetically lifted them up and forced them to remain levitated.

"Why are you taking his side now?" Bear demanded as Mïka watched from the floor. My brothers were struggling desperately as they fought my telekinesis. Never before had we used our powers against one another.

"Mïka is right, Katelyn doesn't have time for us to continue fighting." I sighed heavily. Everyone around me had faces mixed with looks of shock and uncertainty. With new found purpose I walked over to the drivers seat and motioned towards the co-pilot seat. Uncertainty crossed Mïka's face before he stood up and walked over to the seat that I had indicatated.

"Where are we?" Mïka asked earning a glare from many of us. I pointed towards the small map on the main console before putting in the sequence for the large table map. Katelyn's body was resting far enough away that the large map did not affect her as the others crowded around the table.

"Lead the way." I hissed with unhidden  contempt. Mïka looked over at me in surprise as I leaned back and put my feet up against the console. His cheeks flushed red at my direct stare, and I felt my own powers flare up in strength. As if my mysterious power to know all answers came back to me I knew that I had made the correct decision.

Mïka's face was not half as red as Bear's was when he looked at Katelyn. Then again there was a difference between a crush blush, and pure embarrassment. Even now Bear was hovering pretty close to Katelyn's still form.
